That's not really the same thing. That thread is about who could be a surprise pick. This thread is about who's going to be moving up draft boards between now and the draft.

As for the thread, I think Kevin Huerter and Josh Okogie are probably climbing up draft boards, while guys like Robert Williams and Collin Sexton are dropping some.

How is a pick a surprise other than if the player's drafted sooner or later than expected?

Same. I actually have both Okogie and Huerter top 14 on my big board. I'm not sure if either will go quite as high as I have them ranked, but they are definitely poised to make big leaps regardless. Okogie was getting mocked in the 2nd round by a lot of scouts/sites just a couple weeks ago, but I'd be surprised if he made it past 20 at this point. He seems like the exact kind of player the Spurs would draft at 18 and that could be closer to his floor than his ceiling.

What are you not understanding? This thread is about movers, not surprise picks.

It would be a surprise to me if 1-2 scrimmages at the NBA combine, where none of the projected lottery picks even play, caused a team to drastically move someone who has played 2 years of college basketball and has USA Basketball experience up its board. How's that?

If you want to talk about the players who played well at the NBA combine, there's a thread about the combine, a thread about an article about the combine, a thread about the draft in general, threads about Kevin Huerter and Josh Okogie (who everyone agrees played well in the combine and are in fact the only players who have been discussed in this thread), a thread about the top shooting guards, and a thread about who will slide in the draft (which one could presumably answer by saying any SG who's not Kevin Huerter or Josh Okogie). All this just on the first page!

Yeah, you have a well-earned reputation for being rather slow on the uptake.

I think Lonnie Walker is going to rise to late lottery.

Seems like he's already in that range. I have him going 10th currently.

I think Shai has a chance to be taken at 6 by the Magic.

DeV - top 25, playmaker Carter top 25 and I'll go on a limb and say I have a strange feeling about M.Porter Jr. getting to top 5

Fall hmm I have a feeling Jackson out of top 5
Mo Bamba out of top 5
Carter out of top 10 ?

As the creator of the Kevin Huerter and Josh Okogie threads back in early April, glad to see they are clearly no longer sleepers. If only people would give Jontay some more love now.

Right now the top 10 has too many big men and not enough wing players from teams trying to be the next Boston taking Brown and Tatum.

I'm full steam ahead on the Jontay hype train. Would strongly consider promising him at 17 if I was the Bucks GM and was concerned he was going to decide to go back to Mizzou.
