What do people think of him? He is probably my favorite player from this upcoming draft. He is a decent athlete and plays with a lot of energy.

I don't really see it with him yet. Will watch him closely but I don't see how he can be a good player in the NBA.

He is basically Mikal Bridges if his shooting continues to develop

I like his game and think he's underrated. I have KJ in my top 10.

Going to keep my eye on this kid. He's not an elite athlete, but a smooth one and an underrated one. Has some Bradley Beal to his game.

I'm also a fan, I think he'll make the lottery - 10-14 range.

Might drop due to a stacked wing class but I like him. I think he's worthy of a lottery pick.

This kid has something special. I like his fearlessness and his skill set for the new nba. I think he lands in the 5-9 range when it’s all said n done. Don’t sleep on him. He’s got the alpha ness.

INteresting. I thought he had better handles/slashing ability than Mikal.

Not to mention Mikal Bridges was a 4 year collegiate (red-shirted the first year) before emerging, while Keldon is producing as an 18 year old with only 6 months of collegiate coaching.

He is nowhere near as good as Mikal. Mikal had elite off the ball skills on offense and defense and it even shows with PHX which is the worst team he could have went to for his type.

I see a more perimeter oriented less athletic Miles Bridges. Mikal was one of my favorite role player prospects I've seen in years. Keldon is not in the same league. Keldon will take time. I see his trajectory being similar to Winslow with more shooting potential and less defensive potential

The big difference is Mikal knew who he was from the second he started college. He knew his game. Keldon is 3 years younger much more raw. You can’t really compare him to anyone because he doesn’t even know what he is. I actually think he has a special kind of upside because he’s not playing with a role or purpose. Winslow was the the same in that he didn’t have a role. He still doesn’t really, they played him at point guard the other day. Keldon is physically much different than Winslow and I actually like him a lot as a small-ball power forward. He has an elite second bounce, good blocking instincts, quick hands. I think he has a lot of potential with step-backs and euro-step type moves. He can get so much separation off the bounce, he just needs to practice. But I think in 5 to 6 years he’s going to be one of the better players in this draft. It’s just going to take work.

My thoughts on Keldon. I like this kid a lot.
3rd ranked wing on my radar so far.

3. Keldon Johnson -Caron Butler, bigger Randy Foye and a potential Westbrook lite from the sf position..if Schlenk got his Nash in Trae and Klay in Huerter, this is his Draymond Green (from a wing perspective but nevertheless the enforcer).

Butler, Foye, Westbrook and Green in the same comparison? You'll have to elaborate on that because these guys are/were all very very different players.

I think he looks incredible and his reputation is defensive intensity. if he finishes anywhere close to is current outside efficiency he's a top 10 lock. I have him in the 5-6 range right now (which I realize is higher than most), he looks like a very simple plug and play at the next level

Why does he only have 1 block on the season?
