he reminds me more of KD offensively, albeit taller and less quick.

I think his strides and movements are very similar to Durant. Some GM will be fired if they let Bol make it past 5th pick.

I think the wizards, hawks, Lakers, or any other long shot make sense for bolbol in the top 5

Cavs might make the most sense of all.

Lakers have to think hard about this guy. So do the Cavs.

Yep, Porzingis was 230 before the draft and is still having issues with durability and rebounding. Whatever Bol's upside is, he's not likely to deliver on it during his rookie contract at least; I thought similarly about Bamba last year.

I think he falls to the Celtics and they would be smart to make the pick

I agree, considering he's really about 7'0", maybe 7'1" without shoes, which makes him even skinnier. Any GM that drafts him is playing with fire.

He's too big a risk when there's good C options around. Hayes/Goga have to go above him at minimum, I think.

I think Bol will go somewhere we're they're semi-established in the front-court and he can be brought in as a luxury big of the bench to develop.

Maybe if you’re concerned about the foot going forward. I wouldn’t take either over Bol at least for the Hawks.

He's one of the five most talented players in the draft but also the biggest boom-or-bust prospect. After the top-3 picks, there's not a lot of high ceiling players, so might as well take a swing in the mid to late lottery. Wizards at 9 could be a nice landing spot.

A bit shocking to see his weight so low. Smaller than Zhou Qi. Closer to Nerlens Noel size.

5 is too rich imo given his weak frame and already has foot problems regardless of skill level , but he apparently in the mix for CLE.

Put together these Bol Bol videos, both offense and defense in his game against Houston. My impressions are that for all his “skill” offensively he has no idea what he’s doing on the court. When he heads out to the perimeter he runs right near the ball and kills the spacing, he rarely makes contact on screens, and he’s real slow. He is too scrawny to really get consistent position down low and he is really slow and methodical when he does get the ball. Smooth shot but super slow release. He gives very little effort defensively and he gave up numerous offensive rebounds because of it. He is awful at closing out so the length he does have is nullified, guys just go right around him. I cringe at the thought of him trying to guard NBA level athletes anywhere on the court. He’s not my cup of tea, I wouldn’t even have him on my board if I was Atlanta who have two top 10 picks.

Bol Bol and Mo Bamba both have to fill out to be good defenders. Regardless of health.

But a filled out (NBA 7 footer level of filled out ex: Valancunias) Bol Bol, I expect would be healthy for an NBA season.

Bol Bol with Valancunias frame, but Bol Bol's measurements and skill, would be the #1 pick and look like David Robinson with a 3point jumper.

But, assuming Bol Bol fills out to that size would surprise me a great deal. It takes YEARS of continuous work. Once you start working out like that and you go through the adjustment to the new body from being a serious lifter, you will ride that until you hit your next wall.

But when you are as weak as Bol Bol the walls hurt a great deal, however that pain becomes much more tolerable once you are used to felling any pain at all. Once you get used to the idea of pain be a real thing, and you push forward regardless, the pain subsides, usually.

If Bol Bol starts working (weight lifting) hard and can push through the pain he will stay healthier than otherwise.

I mean Bamba is much thicker and he is a twig in the NBA.

Orlando has like 800 bigs they need guard/wing talent bad...and there should be some decent ones where they're picking...doubt they'd go Bol even if he drops
