Health permit, how do you think that Bol Bol translates as a power forward?
Here is what i think.
On offense:
He has a really good touch/ shooting ability that numbers back up. At minimum he is a huge lob threat and projects as a pretty good floor spacer. I can see him being a finesse player in the paint that relies on length, touch and skill. Could be dangerous on the offensive boards with that massive reach. When oportunity permits he can put the ball on the floor against bigger slower players but im not sure it will be a major part of his game. He showed glimpses of passing ability and could develop it further playing alongside Jokic and Denvers system. Come to think of it Denver is the best place to develop a 7 2 guy with perimeter skills.

On defense:
He will be a good rim protector. I hope he has the motor and awareness to be a great help defender. He showed some impressive moments guarding on the perimeter but he cant guard smaller (3-1) players full time. Lack of strength and mass make it hard for him to guard real Cs but i think that he can guard PFs with his length and agility. PF wont have much weigh against him while he will have a huge reach advantage. He is pretty coordinated and can keep up against wings and even if he gets blown by his wingspan gives him a huge recovery radius. He wont be great at grabbing defensive boards on his own but next to some strong box out players he will vacume in all the boards available. He looks to have a good awareness on the court but there are questions about his motor. I hope he makes major strides in that area due to Denvers altitude and natural physical development.

In my opinion he, Jokic and Denvers system fit really well together.

He isnt a PF. He simply doesnt have the feet or lateral agility to guard the vast majority of PFs in this game.

He should be seen as the long term backup to Jokic and, if he really pans out, likely top tier trade bait.

But both Jokic and Bol are strictly centers in this league because of defensive liabilities.

So rumors are Denver are going to offer him a 2-way contract. If he doesn't accept a two-way, what happens next?

totally get it!

What happens if a second rounder is only offered a two way contract? What are the options for the team and player from there?

what do u mean? the majority of 2nd rounders are *only* offered a two-way, just means that they'll be spending some time in the G League.

Well, prior to two years ago, majority were offered minimum contracts (which were more than two way contracts).

If a second rounder believed they’re worth more than a two way contract, but the team doesn’t do they relinquish their rights?

well that's because two-way contracts are a new thing, believe it started in 2017...since then the majority of 2nd rounders are signed to two-ways to, again, be able to play on both the NBA team and the G League team accordingly.
