Bol Bol is projected to have a higher standing reach then Bamba, and is projected to be a better 3pt shooter. Can Bol Bol a better two way player than Bamba and be a top five pick in 2019?

Does he have any muscle in his legs?

I actually like Bamba's 'new' form a lot better than Bol's current one. Obviously they're both unproven and subject to change in that regard.

I think Bamba projects to be a much better interior/finishing presence, and despite a similarly slender frame, Bamba seems more muscular and appears to be to have a wider base. Bol has a bit more of a scary, twig-like body composition. I think he'll get bullied around more.

I know some really have Bol low, and I wouldn't go that far because guys with his dimensions, along with a semblance of skill-set, are not dime a dozen commodities, but I feel like Bol is more likely to be a guy that can be exploited through certain lineups and end up being used a bit more situationally than a guy like Bamba.

Bol is trash he just doesnt clear the athletic threshold to be in the league, i would be shocked IF he ever alpints anything

Bol has not agility. He moves like he is a tree unlike Bamba who moves like a smaller person.

A 17 year old as tall and long as him isn't going to look athletic. Bamba in high school had similar problems. I think he's an NBA player, but he is going to take some time (just like Gobert did, too, look at him his rookie season). He looks more athletic than guys like someone like Eddy Tavares, and much more coordinated too - which is impressive at his age.

Color me skeptical as well. To me it's absolutely crazy that he's ranked where he's ranked as a prospect.

Can he be? Ya. Am I putting money on him being better? No way. I've been one of Bol's harshest critics on here and nothing has changed. Just not a fan of his body type and agility. His movements are just slow and his frame doesn't look like it will allow much muscle. I think he's going to struggle big time against NBA speed and strength.

I wasn't high on Bol Bol two years ago but he's filled out considerably (especially in the legs) and is much more fluid now. He's a much more skilled player on both ends than Bamba. Better instincts, shot, handle, passing and basically more refined. If he continues to fill out and gain strength he'll be the better prospect.

Yes. Bol bol is the player that everyone thinks Bamba is going to be imo.

He has almost the same measurements as Bamba. Of course he'll play in the NBA. Even if he's not that good somebody will want him.

He has a really nice touch on his shot, and is 7'4, he is going to be a NBA player, I just don't think he is going to be a good one, more of a curiosity than anything

think about Boban without the massive strength but similar lack of quicks, and with having a more fluid shot

or of a narrower Porzingis, with no athleticism and lack of effort

just not sure how useful is that dude other than coming of your bench and shooting some 3s

These are just role players at most... Bol's stats were not impressive for someone with his stature, while Deng was really descent actually.
