Re: Team specific draft talk

Atlanta is definitely picking a wing and a center I guess. So @8 and @10 reddish, bol bol, Hayes and bitadze are quite possible choices I guess.

8/10/17 could end up being a Great draft- or end up clogging the end of a bench for 4 years.
8: I see everyone has this as whoever is left of reddish/hunter/Culver but I’m not sure of those 2 guards getting picked and having one of these guys remaining. I think they should be hoping for Goga here
10: perfect world they get wing at 8 and goga or bolbol here
17: they’ll have a guy they thought about at 8&10 still sitting there
I like him and don’t like the Hawks but I think a perfect pick for them is KZ Okpala

I believe they want to package 8+17 or 10+17 and move up for Culver. Schlenk seems to like guys that made the jump by year 2 in productiion.
If they keep 17, I would hope they look at Kabengale who made his jump in year 2 even though he's 21.

Indiana Pacers
Pacers will be bringing back Thad and probably will be seeing if they can get Bogdanovic to return as well. They have a nice little core with those guys, plus Sabonis and Turner. I don’t see them bringing in another big man (drafted Alize last year). They’ll target a PG.

doubt it. we took Holiday last year. no reason to give him a competitor. Sumner can also play some point and don't be surprised if Collison or Joseph are resigned.
the team says they need players who can create a shot for themselves. defense is also important. right now the options at 3 are Bogie and McDermott and Bogie is a free agent. we want him back but that won't be known at draft time and he is older than our young core. I think we look for a SF. and as between a 2/3 and a 3/4, I think we'd prefer a 3/4.
Scoot McGroot wrote:Yeah, a 3/4 makes the most sense for us, though, I think we really might just draft BPA on our board, as we're relatively flexible in positioning, and relatively weak on long-term bench positions.

Before the Atlanta)Brooklyn trade, Tate Frasier of "One Shinning Podcast" said Atlanta has interest in Cameron Johnson.
He fits their mold.
Personally, I'm more confident of Cam Johnson going 17 than any pick after 7.

He’s def not talked about much but I think there will be a lot of interest in him. A true 3 sized player that is viewed as a high ceiling 3 point shooter is big value ever and now esp when they can use those guys at 2 spots.
Cam Johnson
KZ Okpala
Louis the King
6-8/6-9 wing players all getting slept on right now

Does KZ really project to be a wing player or a forward? His body and tendencies has me seeing a forward more than a wing, but I haven't spent too much time on him

Hes a true 3. Not saying he’s that good but the guy he always reminds me of is grant hill.
I know I’m way off consensus w KZ but every time I try to do a list I have him 4-8 in this class.
Stanford had a TERRIBLE season and KZ had bad luck little injury plagued season. This guy is the sleeper of the draft right now. Late 1st or 2nd round is crazy
