Off-Radar College/HS prospects with big time highlights

But seem to have no recruitment in either college or NBA interest.

Post your video's here, and see if we can find gems or if anyone turns up in the NBA or as NBA prospects eventually.

This idea came to me after watching this highlight video from a prospect my ECU pirates signed who had no other recruitment which seemed baffling.

Point Guard 6-5, 175

37.4ppg
9.2 rpg
2.7 apg
2.6 spg
55 FG%
88 FT% (425-482)
29% 3's (72-249)

Also he was clearly taking a lot of difficult 3's. He hit like fifteen thirty foot 3 point shots on those highlights. He had shot 39% from three on 69-179 volume and averaged 4.7 assist prior years, seemingly things he could do when he wasn't asked to score 37ppg. FT shooting is incredible too. Let a top 5 team in Texas 5A too.

The following kid I am mentioning would not be considered off radar by conventional standards because he beelined his way to #68 on ESPN's 2020 recruiting rankings. With that said, this is a recent development, and I think he is a serious NBA prospect!

Kid is an absolute beanstalk at this point, but his handle is solid and he is still growing into his body. Burst is good, not great, but I think that will improve as he develops physically and breaks into his body. SMART player, good vision. Projects as a lead guard or at the very least a primary ballhandler who can pass. Fluid stroke. Late bloomer.

My serious off the radar prospects (as in outside top 100), I will save for a rainy day. But, this is the only one I find relevant for the draft board atm.

The things I suspected about Newton being a Freshman sleeper have pretty much manifested and he's really taken his play to the next level in conference. The AAC is the 7th best conference in the nation keep in mind it's a high level of competition.

AAC play only

12.2 ppg
5.2 rpg
3.7 apg
1.4 spg

19.4 PER (11th AAC)
.549 True Shooting
#1 assist to turnover ratio in the AAC

The last 8 games,

15.9 ppg
6.6 rpg
3.6 apg
1.6 spg

The guy is really coming on. Highly athletic.

As much as ECU sucks as a team, Gardner and Newton are some incredible individual talents who have nothing around them but I do believe the wider public should be aware of them.

Not sure if he fits the profile, but not a top 100 high school prospect so thought Id toss his name in here. Ive mentioned him before in a few other threads as well.

Caleb Lohner: As of right now sitting at 137th (going to Utah) on 24/7 composite ranking. A strong 6'7 guy with a flat out perfect shooting form. He lacks the foot speed to ever be a star or anything like that, but I wont be shocked if he gets a look in 3-4 years because of his size and shooting.
