^ one of the most skilled 7 footers i've ever seen, his floor game, shot-taking/making ability is uncanny for someone his size...it's incredible, he's got some Kevin Durant to his skill set

if his body can hold up he's gonna be a PROBLEM

i don't understand how all these NBA GMs can watch this guy and just let him slide like that, injury/body concerns and all.

He obviously wasn't giving positive medical to anyone enough for a 1st round guarantee deal, but a org like Denver would rather play or develop polarizing prospects with red flagged medical regardless of odds stacked to fail probably because they have a huge collection of progressive alternative medicine options there and sometimes traditional medical opinions are as a rule not reliable as it pertains to humans with non comparable body types with success on record with same injuries.
As good as he is he really needs to be stronger , if he can get there I agree his skill set could allow him to Dom the league, so again the medical records had to be terrible weather they were reliable for prediction of him personally is another story

i am never again lowering a t-rex defenders stock by more than 5-10 picks at least not that showed as much as he did offensively in college.

We’ve been drinking, waiting for all the clowns who trashed the posts talking Herro up from last November to have the courage to admit they were completely, and utterly wrong.

Right now Hachimura, Herro and Paschall (not sure if he counts?) are looking good for where they were drafted.

two starts, two dub-dub games for Sekou, looked incredibly good tonight vs Warriors...albeit a G league version of the Warriors

Looks like PJ Washington but I'm obviously biased.

Out of all of the look at me guys drafted outside of the top 5, this early into the process. P.J. Washington is the one that truly looks like a steal at this stage. He looks like he has all star potential when I watch him play. Good call.

Some guys like Herro, some like Rui, Brandon, etc but P.J. looks like a legit stud. Give him two years and he might be an all star. Great pick for MJ. I wrote him off the minute Kemba left but it seems Graham and Rozier have been much better than I expected and so has Washington.

PJ looks like a legit #3 option. Devonte' looks like a player you can build around as a playmaker where his teams will always be greater than the the sum of their parts. He's a #2 option. The Hornets need a #1 option on offense. Rozier was a stealth pickup. He's been a steady presence and a hard worker. He's shooting the ball extremely well for being a starter for the first time in his career for any significant stretch.

The key to these three is they were all pickups by the new GM Mitch Kupchak. I'm convinced the last one had compromising photos of MJ. It took MJ forever to fire him and bring in a GM who's a good judge of talent.

I have no doubt Kupchak is gonna grab a steal in the 2020 draft. We're slotted 12 but he will find one.

definitely a no nonsense personality with solid tools and still has some upside, but I think overall went where he should have possibly even a little early. time will tell on how well others taken before him turn out. I mean you can take Reddish and possibly Culver and move them to sometime after him with others like Herro,Sekou and Bazley making a case to be taken before him as far as upside.

I still can't believe Phoenix selected Cam Johnson over PJ Washington and Sekou Doumbouya

Sekou's gone from G League to starting PF. He's not there yet, but I think he's gonna make a few teams look foolish. Kid just turned 19.

Yeah I had Sekou in the top tier of guys after Zion. This draft is so weak that it seemed silly to rule out someone who was the youngest player in the draft and could shoot that well for his size.

lol 2019 was/is not weak at all

and Sekou should've been in everyone's top 7 or so, he'd be up there in any class, he's perfect modern day 4 who can score on multiple levels, isn't terrible on defense with a good motor and is young af.

little shout out for my mans Smailagic

very small sample size obviously but:

shooting 54% from the floor, 61 TS%, 18 PER, +11 On/Off on 18/9/2/1 per36 so far...he's been absolutely killing it on the court, Kerr is an idiot for limiting his minutes at this point

this guy is a super sleeper
