What a TERRIBLE comp. Nesmith just put up a 1:2 AST:TOV ratio as a 20 y/o in the SEC.
Herro just put up a 2.5:1 AST:TOV ratio as a 20 y/o in the NBA playoffs.

Herro with the ball in his hands is on another planet than Nesmith.

Bojan Bogdanovic might be the closest comparison

I see Derek Anderson. A middling swing who is considered a shooter but isnt that good at shooting.

Duncan is multiple tiers better at shooting and Huerter has a better handle and passing. He had 3.8apg last season as a sophomore, I dont see Nesmith hitting that at any point in his career.

He's much stronger and much longer than Redick - probably not quite as good a shooter.

Who's the better prospect - Nesmith or Bane?

I'd prefer Nesmith by quite a bit tbh. I also found the focus on CJ/JJ interesting, because his wingspan is the opposite of JJ's, and CJ's handles are much better than Neshmith's (not great). I just think he understand some of his weaknesses and is focusing on a role that he expects would give him the highest chances of succeeding as a pro. Sort of an anti-Lamelo Ball in that.

I think that's the winner, so far.

Wesley Person and Glen Rice are two good floor/ceiling comps, although I'm open to his floor being lower like James Anderson.

Thats a name I haven't heard in a while. Honestly don't know how he washed out the league so quickly. I thought there was a place for him even if he didn't reach his ceiling.
