Banchero looks big af
i wonder how he'll be used at Duke, K misused the hell out of Johnson so i hope that doesn't happen again.

Henry Coleman is leaving Duke. I hate to be that guy, but it seemed like there was going to be plenty of minutes for him this year even with Theo John coming in. It’s almost like he knew a forward is going to be coming in taking up a bunch of minutes, cough Baldwin cough...

He’s definitely been bulking up and working on that 3. If he is a legit 6’11, I’m not even sure K could screw that one up.
If he is truly 6’11 I can see why they bumped him to #1 in the class. I’ve always thought he was 6’8ish and that has been my worry with him with his potential in the NBA. Where is the versatility going to come from? But if he’s 6’11, ya he’s clearly a 4/5.

yup, thought he was combo 3/4 previously but looks bigger right now, not sure about 6'11 but does have enough presence to be a 4/5 situationally, like Johnson did, but again Johnson was completely misused. Johnson looked like a legit 6-9/6-10 to me.

Jalen should’ve been used more of a point forward, or at least have the offense run through him more. Versatile offensive wings used to be K’s premier position to show off. So ya no clue what happened there.
Banchero isn’t a point forward so I doubt K will screw him up. As long as K hasn’t gone completely senile, I think K will still use him as a high usage scorer.

i think he should use Banchero as a point forward tho, that's my point, he's like a Julius Randle pretty much.

I don’t see point forward skills from him yet. Not saying he can’t create for himself from the perimeter, but I’m not seeing anything that shows he can run an offense, facilitating isn’t a strength of his. Plus they have Roach, AJ, and Keels out on the perimeter as well.
Again I think Banchero should be a high volume scorer from all over the court, but I don’t think he should be running the offense.

Desi Sills transferring to Auburn, really like this team now with Desi and Flanigan coming back, obviously they also got Kessler too via portal...kinda wish they kept either Powell or Cooper but w/e
Sills / Green Jr.
Cambridge / Alexander
Flanigan / Jasper
Smith / Williams
Kessler / Cardwell

This Chet kid is legit. Finally we got a white American boy that can go toe-to-toe with Luka/Jokic
Please just stay healthy. Idk how you put muscle on that frame

Re: Future Draft Classes (Prospects) II
I think it should be pretty obvious Holmgren should be the #1 pick and that’s someone who is VERY high on Banchero and AJ Griffin who I see having All-star potential.
Holmgren though is literally THE unicorn. Ever since KD, this has been the prototype for what the possible next GOAT would look like: 7 foot, agile, 2-way, 3-level scorer, and superstar personality. KD was our first shot at “the prototype” and he’ll likely end up a top 15-25 player all time.
Chet is the next chance we have at “the prototype” and I think could have a chance at succeeding more than KD if he ends up in a great situation.
Of course I’m not saying Chet is GOING to be the GOAT, but on paper it’s stupid to pass up anyone in front of him if he is available to add to your ball club.

Wembanyama is back from injury and currently playing with the pros in Nanterre Jeep Elite team. He made a huge impact yesterday, with 12pt 6 rb 2 blk in 14 minutes, being the game changer leading of his team to victory in second half, while they were losing by 21 points at halftime.
He's 7'3, he blocks everything, he can shoot the 3, he can handle, he can pass, and he's even getting a bit stronger as the time goes (Gobert was a lot skinnier at the same age). He's the french unicorn.

Very good. I thought it was more of a feel good story of an impressive kid dealing with adversity, but I can't believe how impressive he is as a prospect. It's a shame(only in regards to his nba prospects, clearly an incredibly impressive kid)

Yeah. I mean that move at 3:50 alone. Not a lot of two handed prospects can do that. Someone should get him a bionic arm or something

Vital and Teague are out and you are missing Cryer and Dainja

Goddamn this kid moves pretty quick for being 7'3, nice shooting stroke too...very intruiging and impressive prospect, gotta be the number one pick in his class.

Kentucky's 4 star RSCI #43 point guard Nolan Hickman has decommitted.
ESPN has him as a low 5 star.
