Read some stuff on Bronny recently that make me think he's a later FRP with a small chance of late lottery.

Nothing to go crazy about but the draft class doesn't seem super strong yet.

had to bump this thread after watching Isaiah Collier the other night. damn, that kid looks special. he shot it well in that game, though i understand shooting may be a weakness, but even at that he's a big strong, athletic, kid who plays hard, incredible in the open court and is a dynamite passer/playmaker. definitely the best lead guard i've seen in HS this year. and his shooting mechanics look solid to me. so if he's not the greatest shooter at this point, it looks like he can get there eventually.

hard to imagine he won't be at least a top 10 pick in 2024.

Ya I think at the moment he most definitely is viewed as a top 10 pick. He is #1 in the class at the moment (at least on 247 he is).

Honestly Im at the point where Im starting to feel bad for the guys in this class and the next. No one cares about them just like this year's rookie class is overlooked because everyone are so focused on Wemby and Scoot.

When it comes to high school basketball, really only 2 names matter to most people and thats Boozer and Flagg. Also kind of weird that both of those guys are twins haha. Anytime there is a big event and one of those two are involved, they're the only guys scouts and people talk about and write articles about. And to be fair I cant blame them, the gap between them and anyone else in high school as prospects is huge.

But ya I think we will have a solid amount of good prospects in the next two classes, that just wont have much hype behind them. Because all high school hype are focused on the two sophs.

ha ha. He's pretty spectacular. The last time a wing was this good this young was Lebron.

I’ve seen some guys online saying Flagg might be the best prospect in the world , better than Victor and Boozer. Not sure if I believe that , but he is looking insanely talented

Ive got him over Booz. I can see why Booz is currently better and might be better the one year in college. But damn Flagg's overall potential is ridiculous. Best HS prospect Ive seen in quite sometime.

(Just got done doing a deep dive on him. Just wow)

can't remember which thread i said it in, but it was clear after the first time i saw him in a game, he was better than boozer. and that's no knock on cam boozer, flagg is just that good. just hope he develops appropriately and realizes his potential because for now, at this age, he's ridiculous.

Ya Boozer is a stud no doubt. But part of Boozer being so good is how well developed he is physically already. Again not saying he isnt a stud on his own, he is. Just being so well developed early on has helped.

Flagg is tall and long, but he isnt physically matured like Boozer. And his game isnt built off of being physically overpowering either. The dude is essentially AK-47 on defense with also being a highly versatile offensive player as well.

And its not like he is playing against no names in North Dakota or something. Dude is playing as good of a high school schedule as you can get with Montverde and he still looks so much better than everyone else on both sides of the ball.

Not particularly impressed with Boozer. At least not enough to put him in rarified air like Flagg. Seems his physical advantages that allow him to dominate will dissipate as everyone else catches up or he reaches higher competition

Y’all ready for everyone to compare Flagg to Bird for the next 4 years?

Damn I made my public correction on him just in time haha. And ya we still have to remember he’s a better defensive prospect than offensive guy at the moment…

He is also a late late 2006 birthday as well (late December). So the dude can (should) reclassify into a very weak class and he will also have being the youngest in the class (most likely) going for him as well.

I just want to throw a couple quotes in here from Flagg, let it marinate for little.

"I always say I like to model my game after Jayson Tatum. And Grayson Allen too, with how hard he plays, and the grit he plays with"

“Dream school obviously but there’s still so many more options that I want to look into and everything like that,” Cooper Flagg said Saturday of Duke.

I mean can anything have been put out any easier for Jon Scheyer haha. There are two freak high school prospects that people cant stop talking about.

One is a son of a former Dukie (who constantly gushes about Duke on the ACC network) and named him after the Duke basketball arena...

And you have the other freak prospect that says he models his game after Tatum and Grayson and Duke is his dream school...
