Am I wrong to think Davion Mitchell comes into play starting pick 6—> ?

I think there’s a group of guys I really like in this years first round. But I have hard time placing 6-10

He does for me. The playmaking, shot creation, and off the dribble burst combined with his defensive productivity is hard to ignore. I'd be more excited to draft Mitchell than, say, Bouknight.

jesus christ, no
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

I don't understand how Garuba it's that low in the draft. Avdija for example last year the people was much more high on him and he doesn't do half of what Usman has been doing in a much better team playing in a bad role the guy is a complete anomaly like Luka play at that age in a team like Madrid being one of the most important player and probably the best defender with Tavares. A really special prospect IQ and defense of the chart mature and a complete young player for his age and still a lot of room to grow. If they choose him that low he is going to be the steal of the draft by a mile.

I personally can't see why not. 6-7 guard (7-1 wingspan) who can score at all 3 levels. He's also from that long line of successful Kentucky guards who have translated to the NBA.

This draft is somewhat wide open after the consensus first 8-9 guys. He seems prime for that 10-14 range at the moment.

My assumption is the raw offensive tools are the main issue. I love his defensive upside like you, but since he's not doing anything "flashy" at that level, what I've read is that there is a concern that he is an early bloomer.

He's probably a mid to late 2nd rounder.

Well his main role on offense doesn't help him but in the last games he has been showing good shines on offense the power forwards in Madrid the only they do it's space the floor and this kid has been always the opposite just play inside and close to the basket. The coach of Real Madrid has been doing that to improve his shooting and is really hard with him I mean if he do two things bad he goes to the bench but it's good for him I think his best position could be Pf mixed with Center position.

The other day the game he did versus Efes not too many kids at his age can do that on both ends at this level. He has been the major factor that Madrid it's still alive in the Euroleague in the last games.

Bad take imo
He is clearly a first round lock already and to assume otherwise given his ability to score at will is short sighted...but I'm interested to hear why you think he's a mid 2nd rounder at best because I do not see 5 players in this draft with the same iso ability at the same size let alone 30 or 40

I'm just basing that on the draft coverage. He's definitely not in lottery conversations and he may work his way up to a late 1st at best. For reference, most big boards I have seen have him in the late 50s at the highest. Does one game change that? Maybe, but probably not enough to get him up to a lottery selection.
