Suggs is a generational talent. If my Bulls had the First Pick he'd be my guy. His all around game is beyond impressive. Defense, speed, passing ability, BBIQ off the charts, charisma, the "clutch" factor. A guy like that elevates the other 4 guys on the court with him. Springer is a fine player. But the comparisons end there. Barring injury Suggs is a perennial All Star by year 3.

Springer is super underrated tho, after the top 5, might be the best prospect in the entire class

I dont see that ( being the best prospect) but I also dont think there is really that much separation between him and Suggs overall as pros. Suggs is only a consistent 40% from deep at a high attempt rate away from being a stud though and Springer seems farther away than that.
I think the one is slightly overrated because of his propensity for making winning plays but is not at all a great shooter and the other is pretty underrated overall but is not any better than Suggs as is either.

The play that impressed me the most by Suggs against UCLA wasn't the game winning shot, or the clutch block late in the game. It was that long bounce pass he threaded through traffic to a streaking Timme AFTER his block on Cody Riley of UCLA. There aren't 5 guards on earth that can make that pass, at that speed, with the game hanging in the balance. The kid is special.

Suggs looks like the kind of player that is going to be injured his entire career. A lot of the time he is forced to play conservatively because he almost gets really badly injured attacking the rim. He’s kind of reckless at times and because of that I think his athleticism is kind of fools gold.

yep wasnt mr football for nothing... not sold that pass gets a green light in the NBA though as the needle is even smaller etc.
But yeah his balls are massive when it comes to that

pretty much the only reason I don't have him in tier 1, moves really violently even when not attacking the rim, I think the athleticism is real, but it's not as smooth and compact as say Green's for example.

Suggs coming back to earth on big boards yet... or is he going to pull off the greatest 2nd half comeback of all time?
Neither result would surprise me. Mitchell is a machine

Suggs has good athleticism but it's not special, also think he is kinda stiff in the lower body, not as flexible as other guards.

I'd still take him #2 behind Cade though.

Suggs and Lillard have the same athleticism imo. Suggs less of a leaper but prob a hair quicker at the same age. He's going to be really good around players with better talent than he

Every time Suggs jumps, it scares the hell out of me. I could see Derrick Rose-like injuries in his future. Violent landings every time.

I don't think I'd take Davion Mitchell in the lottery, especially if he measures out small. I get that he's tough and he's got some burst, but tough, physical PGs can look good in the NCAA and pretty average in the league. Is his shiftiness and push off the dribble enough to separate him that much from a Jevon Carter or Pierre Jackson back in the day?

He's this year's honorary George Hill comp.

Butler got medical red flags

He should go in the 20s talent wise imo, Davion I like about the same, he is prob about 6'0

Butler isnt an nba player.. Mitchell is barely an nba player. there were so many steals mitchell couldnt get to with his amazing anticipation .. because of his lack of length.. NBA guards will take him to the post and on offense he wont be able to score at the rim. Hes fun though.

Disagree about Mitchell. He has an elite on ball defender and his bulk makes up for his lack of height. And on offense he's an elite ball handler who can take defenders off the dribble and can stroke it from deep. Don't sleep on this guy at the next level. The only knock is his age. 22.
