It's Hayes pretty easily for me. At worst he's going to be a game manager PG type who has a lot of scoring upside. Also, it's not everyday you find a guy who has potential to be a top-20 PG in the league.

Out of curiosity, what do you see Toppin's role being in the NBA?

Do the same things he does now, but in the NBA. Play the 4, PNR, continue to work on his outside shot. Play some 3 and 5 depending on match ups.

I don't think he ever plays the 3, but if he is playing the 4, do you see him in a Brandon Clarke kind of role? Do you see him being that effective?

I see a lot of similarities to Clarke, but he'll never be as good of a paint scorer as Clarke. Clarke is elite in that regard. I think he can mimic some of Clarke's consistency, but he'll have to do it via the PNR as well as more of a perimeter game. I do love the comparison to Clarke in the sense that they are both older students who dominated. I just hope GM's learned their lesson with Clarke and don't let Toppin slip too far just because of his age.

I see what you are trying to say but otherwirse Toppin and Clarke are nothing alike.

PD: my answer is Hayes, closely followed by Obi. Not sure what Wiseman is doing there at 3 though.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

I was thinking offense because Clarke gives you a heavy dose of offense via P&R as the roll man. I imagine Toppin's role is the same at the next level.

Okay I think we have enough information to determine a winner here at #4. Can we move on to #5?

okongwu here to add depth
i can see them going with maxey here for scoring too
this is actually a really good position for them to be in...if deni also falls this far i can see him being taken for the sole reason of BPA
