Holly crap I am impressed. People bringing Thon Maker, Maker never had this ability to block shots and protect the rim. As long as hes not a complete stiff like Tavares, who cant guard anyone 10 feet out, then its all good and checks out.

I cant wait to watch this kid as he puts on weight and begins to understand the biometrics of his body. He is going to be so fun.

The fact he can even get on the court in Eurocup despite being 16 and having a negative BMI is impressive in iteself. He looked lost at times and overmatched, but again the age and weight play huge factors. I would be surprised if he isnt a premier player in this league.

Moves great for his size. Polished. Hopefully a future Knick.

hope you wrong, if the knicks get him that means that frank wont have done a good job next years ....
would you prefer Robinson or him if he carry the expectations ?

There is no talent comparison. Victor looks more skilled at 16 than current Robinson.

Mitchell is a hammer, Victor is a swiss-army knife.

I'll take both, Knicks need all the advantage they can get. I love Robinson's game because he gives you what you expect, boards, blocks, fouls and some weak screens.

Im going to follow Victor and see his development. His length is alien like. I like freak prospects but if you follow Victor, basketball is life to him. He has that Giannis personality where his focus seems like a hopeful one. I see him going top 5 IMO.

Victor Wembanyama has potential like nothing I've ever seen.

I said Embiid would be an NBA MVP when he was still in high school. When his draft came around, I said he should go #1 even if there was like a 70% chance he'd get a career-ending injury in his first few years in the league.

Well, it doesn't look like Embiid's going to get an MVP Award, but that's probably half down to his work ethic and half down to the way the game and the rules have changed. Nonetheless, he's been a great player.

Wembanyama is definitely more impressive than Embiid was in high school. I've watched him for like a handful of minutes on the internet. Maybe ten. But I think he might be the best prospect I've seen since LeBron. Better than Zion or anyone else.

Don't laugh. When you're talking about the 15th pick in the draft, it takes months/years to do the research. When you're talking about an all-time great, it takes minutes.

And I think this is it. Better than Holmgren, Bates, or Cunningham.

If he stays healthy, Victor Wembanyama is going to be the best player in the league one day. You can quote me.

Best choice for him. He's been named best young player and is the best shot-blocker this year in France

Who puts on more meat on their frame? Victor or Chet? Both need a sandwich.

Sandwich?

These guys need to be on a full-blown brazilian bbq diet, every day, for the next 5 years.

Arguably the MVP of the U19 World Cup at age 17. 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 blocks today in a quarterfinal win against Lithuania; that's Tubelis (all Pac-12 freshman who averaged 12 and 7 at Arizona last season) looking like a little kid there.
