Re: RealGM consensus mock - Phoniex
I'm going with Saddiq Bey and R.J. Hampton.
Saddiq looks like a perfect role player to add to that core. A secondary ball handler who is automatic from three and a great defender. I'm taking Bey over Vassell here, because of Saddiqs playmaking ability. I think Vassell is a more finesse and maybe a better PURE 3&D prospect, but Vassell's defensive style is very similar to Mikals (finnese) whereas Saqqdiq is more complimentary (like PJ Tucker and RoCo compliment each other more than two RoCo's would.)
I think at this pick you either add another wing, try to find your PG of the future or your PF of the future.
I don't want to risk clogging the paint for Ayton so I'll pass on the top PF option (Williams), my first pick was a wing so I'll use my second pick on a PG. I'll take Hampton here because I'm not 100% sold on any of Hampton/Lewis/Anthony offense becoming anything worthy of top 10 pick, but RJ has defensive upside as well.

None of these picks are what the suns need. They need a power forward.

Williams isn’t the top PF option, he’s just the one being shown in this. Disappointed he is too because the Suns will be looking to draft a PF.

Re: RealGM consensus mock - Phoniex
I think they'd take either Cole Anthony or Kira Lewis to be their PG going forward. Vassell is nice, but somewhat duplicative with Mikail Bridges. A sleeper pick here might be Patrick Williams.
There's a fair amount of consensus on who the top 9 players in the draft are. At #10, it starts to even out. I could see Phoenix wanting to trade this pick.

You can suggest a name and if it's the most popular "other" vote but dosen't win here I'll add that player in the next poll.

They need to find a team like the Celtics who don’t want (3) 1R and flip #10 to C’s for #14, #26, grab a PG still at 14, then pickup Tillman or Stewart later

Re: RealGM consensus mock - Phoniex
I think that the Suns would like to trade their #10 pick for a player like Luke Kennard, but if that's not possible I think they will be OK keeping the pick too.
In that case I think they will draft a PG or a wing. Cole Anthony, Kira Lewis, Maxey, Vassell...it's really open.

seems like the quality of ball dom guards available will outweigh any pressing needs at other positions.
Sure they got some project guards already but if Lewis or Anthony are there at 10th I think they pull the trigger
or if not then they really should trade back and take Smith or Reed or similar later in thier draft range.

I’ve stated I’d want whoever is left of Halliburton-Hayes-Lewis Jr. I think he’s got some Fox in him and would benefit from learning from Rubio (they all wood).
If They were to move Oubre then Vassell or Bey would make sense as well.

Re: RealGM consensus mock - Phoniex
As a Suns fan my best available at this spot is Kira Lewis. Should have the right ecosystem here to develop behind Rubio. We need our point guard of the future, but could also use him in the short term as a change of pace guard off the bench.
Vassell would be my second choice.

Re: RealGM consensus mock - Phoniex
Pretty sure they'd take Vassell in this case. Kira Lewis, Jr and possibly Aaron Nesmith might be next most likely....they just want guys who can play defense and knock down the 3.
Probably would consider Jalen Smith too.
And Phoenix is spelled like I just spelled it. I thought it was typo but if was spelled that way in subject and OP and on Suns board in post alerting us it was our pick.
