This is a great board for the Mavs. I'm going with the two best perimeter defenders. Hampton & Green. Hampton is the texan kid that can become Bubble Trey Burke with steroids. Green on the other hand will be an awesome fit receiving wide-open C&S 3's and adding a much needed defender to our core. Can't go wrong with either one. 3rd option would be Terry, but I really hope it doesn't come to that. The other names doesn't make sense here (at least at #18).

Hampton defense has looked terribly lazy and downright dumb in what I have seen. He's also a terrible, terrible shooter. 27% from 3 and 60 odd from the free throw line.

He has a high ceiling but his chances of reaching it are tiny IMO and he's getting zero burn on the Mavs if he's not hitting 3 and not playing defense.

The fact that Cole Anthony is still on the board is eye-opening. Still, for the Mavs I said Hampton and Green.

The mismatch potential of having Pokue and KP on the floor together is pretty special. That being said, I think DAL wants to bring in someone who can help sooner than later and Green is just perfect for that team.

Yeah, he was well ranked on the big board we did.

I can see him going him as high as the Knicks (not because I want or think they should, I like Haliburton very much for them instead, but he is the type of player New York would go for) and thought no way he makes it past Orlando, but seems people liked Lewis for them better. I'm not super high on Anthony, he was inefficient at the one thing he does well (score) and he's a poor passer and defender.

Still he's a bucket getter and a guy like that can look pretty good in the right situation (which is why I haven't always been voting for him as BPA), give him better spacing and a lower volume in the NBA and I think he could become a 40% 3 point shooter like Terry (but much better at drawing fouls and creating his own). Next to a big playmaker like Doncic is the right fit for him in my opinion and Dallas would be crazy to pass on him unless they really believe in Pokusevski or something.

Poku has been my favorite player outside the lotto so I’m picking him.

I think he goes earlier than this once all is said and done, but I dont think Dallas would pass on him at 18. Sure, a ready to play 12-18mpg role player would be nice, but the potential of Poku on that team is just nuts. They also dont absolutley need to get immediate minutes from the 1st rounder. They are set to have lots of cap space 2021 and have a squad that, with only intenral development, should improve to around the 4-5 seed this year. So, taking Poku and developing him could make sense. It works out and you could be looking at a just bananas lineup in 2021 of something like Holiday / 3D / Doncic / Poku / KP.

Ill be extremely disappointed if Dallas picks Terry. We already have Seth.

You also have Brunson and Delon Wright. Terry doesn’t really make sense. Absolutely no minutes there.

Of these players Josh Green makes the most sense. Dallas had the best offense in the league, they need more defenders.

Cole Anthony long term is the best answer.

Disappointing but acceptable. At least it wasn't Pokusevski. In this scenario, I'd try and trade up for Vassell, Bey or Achiuwa using #31.

If Paul Reed, Tyler Bey or Daniel Oturu fall to #31 then you got yourself a deal.

Pokusevski lasting until this point would have the potential to be one of those "why would the rest of the league just allow them to get this stacked?" moments in the coming years.

If he's bpa you take him and move out seth to clear cap, he's 30 so he doesn't really fit the timeline anyway
