I've looked at these three just because of this post (I looked at Woodard back in February but these other two are new names to me). Thanks for listing them..
I want to record my thoughts on them here and would be interested in a back in forth on them if you want to further express your opinions on them as well.
Josh Hall dosen't seem like anything special (by NBA draft standards) to me. But because of his size, passing flashes and on ball shooting potential I'd be comfortable taking a flier on him in the 40's if no one slipped. I'd be happy to have him as project player on a two way contract for sure. Not elated, but happy. He looks like a "poor man's" Cam Reddish imo
Karim Mane is an AWESOME find. I'm comfortable putting him of Kira and probably Maxey already. I think I like him more than Cole too, but I'm not 100% sold in that yet. He looks like a legitimate lottory talent to me. A 7' wingspan and his speed at 6'5" is pretty crazy. If he interviews well I'd take him lottory no doubt. I love building a team of defenders first and then adding offensive players who either fit in or are stars. I see George Hill like defense, with a more downhill offensive style like A.Holiday. if he can develop the shot (it looks better than the percentages from my pov) he could be an all-star caliber player imo. His handle looks a little lose, but I think that might just be because he has that freaky wingspan, so I'd expect it to get tighter.
Their are clips that make him look like a 6'5" Giannis. Hes just on another tier athleticly from everyone else in the clips I saw. His assist numbers looked alright imo too. I'm really grateful you brought this guy up.
Woodard looks like a first round pick to me. I'm high on T.Bey but I'd take Woodard over him. If Woodard had done everything exactly the same but spammed threes (while maintaining this %) he'd be fridge lottory too.
Woodard looks like hell walk into the NBA as a + defender between his iq and great defensive physical tools. Mane has elite physical tools for the position but he looks like a 20 year old iq wise.
Mane is a tough guy who has all the tools, seems smart but just hasn't proven it against grate competition from what I've seen.
Woodard looks legitimately like a stopper in the NBA and if he can spam more threes (while maintaining his college %) I think he could be in that Royce O'Neal, DFS, KCP, maybe even Mikal Bridges tier of defender. The dude looks like a brick truck even with his rediculous wingspan has quick hands and fast feet with good iq and fundamentals.
Two really good names a draft need like me is into.
What kind of NBA outcome/future/thoughts do you see for these three?
