Wolves made improvements during the draft and through free agency but is it enough to overcome such teams as the Dubs, Sun's, and the Pelicans?
Dubs according to Tankathon will have the fifth pick, who is your choice with the fifth pick overall?

the Rubio addition gives them a good baseline actually, I think that'll give them a few more wins on its own + whatever progression they get from guys like Culver and Okogie
no sure how they gonna divvy up their guard rotation honestly, Rubio/Russell/Augustin/Edwards/Beasley, and they still got Culver/Okogie/Turner/Nowell...a lot of cooks in the kitchen there we'll see
i think there's enough talent there for them to potentially make the POs but right now the roster is all over the place, could end up anywhere really.
as for who we take if we get #5 (assuming Green/Cade are gone) it's Mobley and not close right now for me.

Unfortunately for the Wolves that pick is going to be high in a great looking draft. The pick is worth more than Edwards.

Edwards has nothing with this deal tho, they gave up the pick to get Russell and move the Wiggins deal pretty much...also top 4 protected
that said yes, it wasn't a good deal for them im not a Dlo guy at all.

It's gonna be a lottery pick unless they get lucky in the lottery draw and get a top 4 pick which would fall in protected area of the pick.

I think the Wolves end up 11th or 12th in the West, most likely a late top10 pick, barring lotto luck, going the Dubs' way basically
I think the Warriors' own pick is going to be a late lotto one, so If I had to bet I'd say they end up with the 7th and 13th picks for example

Pick could end up hit or miss. Wolves jump into the top 4 and that pick loses almost all of its value. Or if the 2021 draft starts looking a little less deep.
This might be peak value for this pick.

if it doesn't convey in 2021 it turns into a 2022 unprotected

You'd think at some point people are going to be humbled after previous hyperbolic or irrationally overconfident statements turned out to be incorrect, and be a bit more modest instead of doubling down. But oh well, I suppose that's not for everyone for reasons I don't quite understand.

Maybe at some point but that being said I don't like their chances of making the playoffs.

Would Wiseman and Garuba work?

Yeah but Rubio, DLo, Edwards, Beasley, KAT, top 3 in 2021 has to be a playoff team...lol...I think...maybe.

Get Scottie Barnes and replace Draymond if we're talking late lotto.

Wolves will have tough time making the playoffs. Although they have some nice talent the west is just so good that a team like this could end up very low. Biggest reason though I don’t see is coalescing is Saunders hasn’t shown anything yet to prove he can get young team to overachieve and talented guys like Russell and KAT to overachieve defensively. I think the guys like him and the hire is better than a retread but they were really bad for stretches last year and I think lots of teams improved / there’s no teams giving up already so easy wins will be hard to come by. Don’t think they’re a typically awful team but seems like they’re still battling uphill

If dubs end up with Josh Christopher next year with Klay off the bench.. it's game over for the western conference

The pick is top 3 protected not top 4 as some of you have suggested. T Wolves roster looks better than it did last year but as said the West is tough and they've missed the playoffs in 15/16 years so odds are they will miss the playoffs again unless they really gel and guys like Russell, Culver and Okogie take their game to the next level. Kuminga, Jalen Johnson,or Barnes would be nice additions.
