Another light 35/10 tonight in 25 minutes. 30 in the first half.
Came into the game averaging 34/10.

I don't know if his stats for tonight are included in those averages but, according to sports reference.com he is averaging 34 and 10 with 1 stl and 3 blocks. He is shooting 86% from the field, 75% from 3, and 88% from the ft line. He currently has a PER of 69.4 lol.

Reminds me of Domantas Sabonis.

Finding bigs that can pass is one of the top market inefficiencies to tap into. It's tough with college players because they're rarely used that way and thus statistical models won't bear it out, but Sabonis seems like a good example because he wasn't racking up assists at Gonzaga. Based on the last minute of that clip it looks like Garza has those chops, which combined with the rest of his repertoire could make him a potent offensive center in the NBA. Vucevic-esque maybe?
How's his defense?

Sabonis was always super mobile. Garza is slow AF. If he's in the NBA he's a third string center for his career. Like Nene is still a really good player even if he isn't in the NBA anymore. If you throw current Nene into college right now and hand him the ball every possession he can do the same thing. That doesnt mean he can play in the NBA anymore.

The best comparison for Garza is Nikola Pekovic. I just don't know how useful Pekovic is in the modern NBA. I think Garza is a good screen setter though. Seems like a player the Spurs pick.

Kevin Love 2.0. Savvy and gets the most out of his severe athletic limitations on offense. Putrid defender at best. He's a lottery pick all day since defense such an afterthought in today's NBA

I've looked at a couple of draft sites that don't list him in their top 100. IDK how he'd go undrafted. Benches need size,

No way to justify him going undrafted. Maybe his ceiling won't be that high but I cant see him being a complete bust especially in the 2nd round.

I would most likely agree on him being undrafted. However I think he has less than a 10% chance of going in the Top 40 picks. He'll almost be 23 at the start of the next season and we didn't see a dunk until 1:31 on that highlight video.
His footwork is great, but if he is mostly going up against guys smaller than him and slower than him that makes it look better than it will be at the next level.

He is one of those guys who will be like Steve Novak and completely transform his game because he has a winner's mentality. Physically, he will always be a liability. I wonder how much weight he can shed. You draft him on his interview, not on anything translating from college.

Could definitely play that kind of role. It is a bad sign that they sub him out for defensive purposes against teams like Wisconsin. He is really going to struggle guarding anyone in the nba. But I think he could be a better version of someone like frank kaminsky.
