I could see a team taking a flier on Vrenz Bleijenberg in the mid-late 2nd round.

interesting match up today, Bolmaro vs Jokubaitis. Both getting ton of minutes and guarding each other.

Jokubaitis is OK, but he's gotten way overrated. He looks like a rich man's Dellavedova.

Bolmaro is definitely talented. He's got great size for a guard, he's athletic, he's skilled, and he's got good potential on defense. But he often plays way out of control and like he's just running around without any clue of how to play basketball. He's like the least Argentine type of basketball player ever. Which is odd.

Jokubaitis has really cooled down, he can be such a non threat, like at all. Bolmaro looks made for the NBA, tall, great handle, likes to run, have no doubts in that guy, he looked WAY better than Jokubaitis yesterday, Jokubaitis doesnt really look like NBA player when he plays like that.

Bolmaro reminds me of like a slightly bigger, and less athletic version of Brent Barry. Although he's still athletic in his own right.

But he definitely lacks that Argentine basketball IQ. He plays out of control and wild, and makes a lot of bad decisions. He's so far on the opposite side of Argentine guards like Pepe Sanchez, Alejandro Montecchia, Pablo Prigioni, Nico Laprovittola, Facu Campazzo, and so forth, in that regard. Just doesn't seem like an Argentine player at all. Looks totally like an American player.

Filip Petrusev made his debut for Serbian National team yesterday against Georgia in qualification match for European championship with 27 points and 6 rebounds on 10-15 shooting and overall was the best player on the court. He is making a run for that first round, lots of potential

I still don't see it with Petrusev whatsoever, his value relies almost exclusively in bombing 3s, like maybe he can be Mike Muscala, sure

I just not sure what would be his role in the NBA right now.

You don't know what the heck you talking about  He has post up game , he's great off the pick and roll, great finisher around the rim , plus he can hit the perimeter jumper and the three point shot , practically he has a complete offensive game that will translate in the NBA. On the defensive end he has to work out , but the tools are there. Comparison with Muscala is just dumb, you never watch Petrusev obviously , its nice that he dominated solid , experienced euro center Shermadini. He's going to be one of the steals of the next NBA Draft ,I hope Denver picks him up , and he plays back up to Jokic or they play together in the starting five :)

The center position is back, almost every NBA team have a center that is an important piece of that team.

Muscala was an optimistic comparison

Maybe you've mixed Petrusev with Pokusevski my man, because Petrusev doesn't bomb threes like at all, if anything that is what he needs to work on the most on offensive part(he is shooting 42% on threes this year but his release is kinda slow and it just looks like it wont translate in NBA). Petrusev mostly works inside the paint, i'm not saying he is a sure thing but Mike Muscala comparation is really off

Filip was one of the best college ball players last year at gonzaga. Went overseas to prove that he can shoot the 3 as Gonzagas system doesn't require alot of 3s, let alone from there C. Like most Gonzaga bigs, he had excellent footwork and is already a great low post scorer, just needed to prove his ability to shoot 3 to space the floor as most nba centers are doing nowadays

He was shooting threes very well in high school at Monteverde before the college , with the National Youth teams he was allowed to play only in the paint , like in college. The highlights from both qualifying games. He's locked with the NT if Serbia qualifies for the Olympics.

How would you guys compare Petrusev to another euro big who played for Gonzaga not so long ago. Hint - his father's name is Arvydas :D

What made Domas great was his workethic, he is one of those guys who got more athletic after his teen years, he is in amazing shape, guy found perfect balanced between being strong and still light on his feet, if Petrusev can transform his body like that, he can be very good no doubt about it. I admit I wasnt high on Sabonis at a time, I saw him as low ceiling guy, Petrusev I have seen only highlights and I kinda share similar opinion, but I was wrong once already.

The Petrusev's hype train is so ridiculous, jesus christ fellas

What I basically got from reading through is that basically nobody followed/watched Gonzaga last year
