i think he needs his own thread at this point, sophomore he ended up redshirting last year, with legit 3+D potential in the league at the wing hole, D is not quite there yet but the physical toolset is a + and offensively he's legitimate as both an on-ball and off-ball guy.

looks like a real 6-7, or 6-8 to me, solid base, fluid hips, multi-level scorer, I slot him as a 1st round guy right now with potential to even be higher.

He's definitely on the radar, would just like to see more than scoring.

Kid has game, the fact he is performing this well after only playing now 10 I believe college games is well, astonishing given he’s coming off back to back freshman season ending injuries. 6’8 new world NBA big who can step out. Another aspect he’s got hunger, believe he went +25 in muscle this off-season, best buddies with RJ Hampton as well.

He could have a Thomas Robinson type 3rd year at KU if he stays for this repeat RS FR year

Time to dust this thread. He's playing at NPOY level currently. Obviously he's an older player by now and there are still some concerns about his shooting markers (although the form looks solid) but NBA teams have to be intrigued by what he has shown this year. Go-to scoring ability (even though his efficiency remains mediocre), improved playmaking, good physicality and endurance.

Honestly, the way he operates inside the arc and probes defenses reminds me of Luka a bit (yes, poor man's version of course) with how he uses hesitation, strength to get to his spots, patient and versatile finishes, post ups against smaller players. How high can he climb up the big boards of the NBA teams?

To me he's a surefire FRP but I could easily see him making a push for the lottery if he continues on his current trajectory. There's just a lot to like from an NBA perspective even with him being an old prospect, the shooting limitations and the mediocre scoring efficiency. Strong 6'6'' wings who can create their own shot and make plays for others is what the NBA is all about.
