How do you guys feel about Hunter Dickinson? I've waited a few weeks to post this to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me but he's looking like one of the best players in the country IMO.
How do you all think his game will translate to the NBA and do you all see him as a potential one or two and done? What are his draft prospects to you?

Re: Hunter Dickinson
He is old, he is slow, he can't really move, he is not a NBA prospect whatsoever
Should be really solid in Europe after a great career at Michigan, maybe make a roster as a 15th man in the NBA for training session purposes

Agree with Fisch. Don't be fooled by his productivity. 5 seconds of watching him play confirms he's just beating up on smaller younger guys who can't handle him at this level. Hard to see him as anything more than a fringe NBA guy.

Re: Hunter Dickinson
Hes an awesome college player. He just completely destroyed the best big hes played 7foot Junior Liam Robbing whos averages 13 and 7 on #16 Minnesota.
That said its not the 90s. Hes that post big that teams arent looking for anymore. Likely he sticks around college and dominates for a few years maybe a 2nd round possible late first if some team falls in love after a few years in college. Hes going to be absurdly productive as a college player.

Re: Hunter Dickinson
Fair points. He doesn't seem to have the requisite athleticism for the NBA but I hope I'm wrong. I'm loving what I'm seeing from him so far.
He might be to Juwan what Ewing was to JT, Jr.

He recently declared for the 2021 draft but I assume he will be returning to Michigan after his pre-draft evaluations.

Re: Hunter Dickinson
I would draft him 2nd round with the consideration that he develops his three point shot. It makes no sense for him to come back to college just to continue to dominate in the paint. If he stays and attempts to hoist threes, he's yet another year older and therefore he has even less potential according to many front offices. It is really a lose lose for him. His best bet is hoping a team falls in love with him in the 2nd. He isn't going to replicate Michigan's magic next year without Livers/Wagner and Mike Smith/Chaundee.

Re: Hunter Dickinson
Too one hand dependent, not much of a face-up game and not a rim protector. No real role at the NBA level sadly.

Re: Hunter Dickinson
He's also kindofa weird dude. He made a big deal about getting revenge on Maryland for not recruiting him (He's local.), and even taunted groups of MD fans about it. All of Maryland's coaches basically said he's nuts - he was their #1 recruiting target, and he turned them down. Very good college player - even dominant.
