JT Thor - Auburn

Post#1 » by clyde21 » Wed Jan 27, 2021 3:52 am

am I the only one who thinks this guy has absurd potential? he's freaky, and how he's starting to hit some 3s at a decent clip.

1AD?

No you are not. He is very skilled just hasn't put it all together yet. After Mobley, it is Kai Jones and Thor for bigs I like in college right now.

I love the potential, but he needs to be developed properly.

this guy is a freak, there is no way this guy doesn't go 1st round if he's in.

He is going to go way higher than many expect. Thunder seem like a good location. I think he has SF fluidity personally. Thats pretty special at 6'10.

He'll be better than numerous players picked in front of him.

Wagner is better passer and closer to a finished product whereas Thor has higher ceiling but is also more raw so a team that is closer to being a contender and is in win-now mode rather than rebuilding mode might want to take a guy like Wagner or Robinson-Earl rather than wait for a guy like Thor or Greg Brown to develop..

I guess. Finished product of what, though? I’m a Michigan native and fan, and I just don’t see it.

Wagner is closer to being able to be a regular contributor for a good NBA team. I agree though, he is being overrated by many people. Seeing him go in the 9-14 range in most mocks and I think that's too high..

Wtf happened to his hype? I think he's better than his lottery big man peers like Kai Jones and Isiah Jackson.

i think some people will be surprised at how he'll go on Thursday, he's definitely better than Kai Jones that one I don't really understand.

yeah did he work on his shot or is he just better in 1 on noone vs in game?
He is a clearly freakish built / athlete so sky is the limit I guess.
I bet he is easily in late lottery contention for a few but probably
ends up in Memphis or OKC imo
