The Terps have some good defensive players. I overheard Big Ten announcer(s) today when they beat Rutgers say “no NBA players “ on this roster.
Neutral opinions needed and welcome on Aaron Wiggins, Eric Ayala, Donta Scott, and Darryl Morsell.

I'm not neutral, but I couldn't resist this thread. I think all 4 should return, because they all have something to prove before they'd get drafted. Wiggins, Ayala, and Morsell all have to improve on their 3 point shooting. Wiggins has a pretty looking 3, but he's gotta be more consistent with it and improve his ball-handling. Morsell is the best defender of the group but has the biggest rope to climb as a 3 point shooter - fun player to watch but can't shoot, at this point. Ayala has developed as the go-to guy and is the best creator and has good size and strength for a PG, but he's failed to show distribution skills needed at the point. Scott is a tweener forward. I'm not sure he has the length to defend PF's, and I'm not sure he has the perimeter game and quickness to play the 3. He's got a good strong frame and if he can get in better shape, I think he's got a shot at making it in the NBA.
Btw, if anyone's looking at Chol Marial as a prospect - it's not gonna happen. He can't keep up with the speed of the game.

Morsell is a senior. I’ve wondered if he’d take advantage of the COVID free year of eligibility.
