Whom does everyone think should be the #1 pick.
To me it's obvious Jalen Green is going to be a super star. I would take him at 1 without a second thought.

Yeah I think Green will go first. Also Suggs, Cade, and Mobley will make up 2-4 but who goes where will depend on the lottery.

Cade is going #1, Im not sure there is going to be much talk about that.
Now that doesnt mean I have him #1 on my board. I still dont think there is much gap between the top 5. But Cade is going to go #1, but I also wont be shocked to see a 2017 redo where a team doesnt have Cade #1 and trades down a couple of spots to get their guy like the Celtics did with Tatum.

It's Cade, but I don't see any of the top 5 coming close to being a bust. All have all star potential, top 30 player in the league potential.

I have Evan Mobley going #1.
This to me a is a class of good, but not great wings and guards.
Cade to me screams Wiggins in terms of not impacting the game. Sure he might have a different skillset, a slightly more skill at the same age, but his non-impact in counting stats is glaring. His BPM is worse than Wiggins (7.7 vs 8.6). We all know Wiggins can't put up counting stats in the league aside from points on mediocre efficiency. Players won't can't put up BPM in college have a really hard time doing so in the league. We sure don't got no superstars in the NBA with mediocre BPM. Success is not predicted by BPM, but if your BPM sucks, you sure as hell aren't successful in the NBA.
Difficult to judge Green and Kuminga since they play in the G-League and we don't have much data in terms of G-League counting stats for NBA draft evaluation, but we can see that their stats are good, but not great, while the leading statistical constributors are the who's who of borderline 14th man in the league.
Seeing that I don't believe in Gonzaga players as their counting stats are perpetually overblown, I don't care about Suggs.

Cade should be unanimous 1st. not picking mobley bc Ayton was much better prospect and look how he turned out.

Wiggins is just an awful comp. Cade is showing he knows what he has to do to lead OSU to wins.. Wiggins had no clue WTF he was doing at Kansas.. and still doesn't know what he can do to impact games.
The guy who made the comp clearly hasn't watched Cunningham play during their 6 game win streak. I do like the pierce comp more.. especially a more prime Pierce. To me he's the Tim Duncan of point forwards. He can do everything.. great fundamentals and can be criminally slept on even though they keep winning games because of their composed demeanors. Physically.. what he looks like out on the floor.. Grant Hill but without Hill's insane hops.

Cade is going first, it should be Mobley.
Best top 5 since Lebron got drafted tbh, except there’s no Darko this time

All 5 can go #1. Shocking how no one mentions Kuminga. Him Suggs and Mobley underrated. Green and Cunningham will compete for rookie leaders in points. They're just automatic scorers.

Quick question, are there any more games the gleague will host so Green and Kuminga can showcase some more?
Because as it stands now with ncaat and all.. iys only cade suggs mobley that can raise their stocks in the top 5

the top5 is pretty much set at this point, most likely Cade #1 and then whatever combo of Mobley, Suggs, Green and Kuminga next depending on who you talk to

Ayton was not a better prospect, not even close
It's close.
Ayton put up 20.1ppg, 11.6rpg, 1.9bpg, 61.2 FG%, 34.3% from 3, 73.3% FT as freshman.
Mobley is averaging 16.8ppg, 8.6rpg, 3.0bpg, 58.4% FG, 31.4% from 3, 69.5% FT as a freshman.
I slightly prefer Mobley. But it's close.

this is kinda hindsight because I had Ayton #1 at the time, but retroactively speaking I should have seen where the NBA was going at that point, and a single level C like Ayton should have never been #1, but I was really intrigued by the physical profile.
but Mobley is better, because he has much better ball skills and more functional mobility on both ends than Ayton, he can create on his own multiple ways, is a better passer, and defensively has already shown way more than Ayton. you can't judge these guys on stats, Mobley is a better prospect in almost every way for today's NBA.
