With the Wolves recent improvement at 22-47, they have the seventh worse record which would complete the DLo-Wiggins trade.
The Oubre trade is still a toss up in terms of the Dubs record and if they owe their first pick or the Wolves second round pick, either way a deep draft.
With the 7th pick, the Dubs select Moses Moody, SG, Arkansas.
If the Dubs keep their first round pick, the Dubs select Zaire Williams, SF, Stanford.
If the Dubs lose their first to the Thunder, the Dubs get the Wolves second round pick and selects Kessler Edwards, SF, Pepperdine.
Why Moody, with Thompson's two year layoff because of two different lower leg injuries, a reliable backup is assured. Poole has played well but more shooters are needed and Jordan can play some point to give Steph a needed rest.
With the 18th pick, the Dubs select Zaire Williams, more length and size at small forward. His body should fill out about the time Wiggins contract ends. If not, another shooter, who defends, and plays with intensity.
If Dubs pick goes to the Thunder, the Wolves pick goes to the Dubs in the second round, they select Kessler Edwards, 6-8 wing who shot 39.5% from three, scores from all three levels, and has the size and quickness to defend multiple positions.
