I think there will be a few pre-draft promises this time around.

always had a feeling Jackson will go a lot higher than people think, we'll see. I have him as a top 14-16 guy right now so it wouldn't shock me at all if he's lotto bound.

Is this on NBATV or anything like it used to be before COVID?

I am not so high on Jackson. He can't shoot outside of 15 feet and can't dribble, so he can't play the 4. But at 6'10", 206 lbs he's too small to play center.

I'm just not seeing it - I've got at least 20-25 guys comfortably ahead of him on my big board..

"Coffee Cock Burn" just seems like a purely CPU-generated name on the NBA 2K Dynasty mode.

When is this going to stop? This is the exact same size as Noel who has had no issue playing center.

1) Noel is 6'11", 220 so he has 1 inch and 14 lbs on Jackson - that might not seem like much but it makes a big difference when trying to battle the big boys in the paint.

2) Noel has been a bench player for most of his career Except his first 2 years where he started for a terrible sixers team that went 18-64 and then 10-72. This year he started a good amount of games but only due to Robinson's injury...

Noel has also been very injury prone throughout his career..

3) Because 1 guy in the past 10 years has played center with measurements close to that, so someone should use a lottery pick on jackson in a very deep draft when there appears to be many better options? Those don't seem like good odds to me. I'm more likely to roll the dice on Jackson if it's much later in the 1st round, or even early in the 2nd..it really is a deep draft..

NYK likely promised Cam with their two mid 1st rounders. He probably has the best overall shot ( floater, mid range, 3 range, deep range, etc.)

I feel like if Chris Boucher (6-9, 204) can play center, Jackson should be fine. Obviously he's not going to body up Embiid, but most nights that's not going to be his job. I'd love to see him in Golden State or Charlotte.

Quick notes from what I saw (first scrimmage):
1. EJ Onu: too raw right now, but mobile. Should go into the transfer portal. Had some embarrassingly bad plays.
2. Jose Alvarado: did a nice job managing the game, looked small. Reminded me a bit of Malachi Flynn and Raul Neto, but I'm not sure he is as good as either.
3. Scotty Pippen Jr.: looked good, ball handling seems to have improved a bit - nothing crazy. He will get drafted if he declares, imo.
4. EJ Liddell: flashed some faceup game at moments, don't think he is an NBA player, though.
5. Haowen Guo: the most interesting player, I thought. Really nice ball handling for his size, played aggressive but smart, shooting may need to improve a bit but his form was not terrible. Passing was great.
6. Orlando Robinson: had a nice bounce pass on one play on a give and go, otherwise unremarkable.
7. Delano Banton: At times looked slow, weak, and awkward with a loose handle. At other times looked fluid, like a plus athlete at the camp, with a nice handle. Worth another look.
8. Mike Smith: not an nba player, probably not a gleague player, either.
9. Mac McClung: looked nice, moved the ball well, had a couple moments on defense where he really competed, but also a couple where he lost track of the play. Still would not draft him but if he does get his name called it would not be a surprise or unjustified. I thought Alvarado was better, though.
10. Duane Washington: meh? Kind of the biggest point guard there with the best blend of size and athletecism but had some bad moments mixed in. I think he will get a 2-way contract, but not be drafted.
11. DeVante James: had some nice moments with good decision making but did not seem athletic enough for the NBA.
12. Aaron Wiggins: could see him getting drafted. Seemed like a decent athlete who could become a 3+D player with some development.
13. JaVonte Smart: man he is fast, had some nice defensive plays, some good passes ... reminded me a bit of Miye Oni who has been able to carve out a role as a 10th man.
14. MJ Walker: also did well for himself. Played well on defense, stroke looked nice, looked like a plus athlete.
15. Hunter Dickenson: he and Orlando Robinson were the best centers in the first scrimmage. Nice stroke, threw some good passes, but don't see an NBA player here.
16. Oscar Da Silva: I expected a lot more from him. Had some really bad plays where he got stripped, seemed unaware on defense. At least he played hard, but it was pretty frantic at times.
17. Eugene Omoruyi: played really hard, brought energy to his team, didn't see a ton of skill there but maybe he can be developed into something. Shot did not look broken, but it also did not look super smooth, so maybe there is an undersized 4 there.

Top 10:
Haowen Guo
Delano Banton
Scottie Pippen Jr.
Jose Alvarado
Javonte Smart
Mac McClung
MJ Walker
Orlando Robinson
Aaron Wiggins
Duane Washington
