i would take Moody here pretty clearly, but not really sure where Myers' head is at, and don't really trust him, wouldn't be surprised if it's Mitchell or Bouknight here at all tbh.

Man, I'd take Jalen Johnson. If there is an environment with the infrastructure to bring him along it's Golden State, and I think he can play small-ball center in some lineups. In reality, I think this pick gets traded, and the highest upside on the board I think is also Jalen Johnson. If not JJ, I could see this being Sengun or the aforementioned Moody. Maybe Keon Johnson.

They're trading the pick:

But IDK, if they keep the pick, I'm thinking Jalen Johnson. Warriors play an up tempo style with quick ball movement which fits Johnson well. He can help them win now while also giving them a piece to build around for the future.

If Warriors used pick 7 as one of the assets to acquire one of the Pacers centers and Indiana was picking here I like Moody.

assume the Dubs are picking here plz, no point in talking about hypothetical trades that haven't happened and will probably never happen.

If Myers is making the pick it will be Mitchell.

He’ll overcompensate for taking a raw Wiseman.

It’s the wrong pick. But people actually think Myers was in charge during West’s time and give him credit so they’ll buy in.

Basically coming to say this. Davion is ready and both Steph and Klay could use some games off the bench minutes wise.

No other guy makes sense as being ready for the season. I would trade that pick for Siakam no doubt.

1) picking for next season is a huge mistake, next season is not the last season Steph/Klay will play

2) Myers could very well pick Mitchell, but it would be a huge mistake taking him over a guy like Moody or Barnes

So Wiseman + #7 nets what?
Jerami Grant?
Shai Gilgeous?

I'm not sure what Wiseman's trade value really is right now.

More than Grant, less than SGA. Huge value gap there, this is somewhere in the middle. That’s like two Grants and half a SGA. :)

would not get you SGA, and Grant wouldn't be worth it, which is why i doubt trading the 7th/Wiseman will happen and, again, it shouldn't if Myers is smart.

I’d go with Jalen. Tie him to the hip of Draymond and have him mold his game after him.

Moody appears to be easily the best combination of fit, readiness and some upside. I'd take him. I like Jalen Johnson but it's probably too risky for us at 7. The Warriors, if they don't trade the picks, need contributions from their Rookies next year and Johnson is just a complete wild card in that regard.

Franz Wagner

High IQ, can shoot, defend and run some pick and roll. He’d also fit nicely with Dray, Steph, Klay and possibly Wiseman.

He’s perfect to GSW’s system. I’d imagine he can play that role Iggy played with them before.

Big:
Steph
Klay
Wagner
Draymond
Wiseman

Small Ball:
Steph
Klay
Wagner
Wiggins
Draymond

With Scotty gone who I thought fit like a glove. I'm gonna go with Jalen Johnson for almost the same reasons as Scotty. I think Jalen will be able to fully utilize his passing and defense. In a lot of ways Jalen could be the perfect glue guy type. Checks a lot boxes

Passing
Defense
Transition
Athletic
Shot blocking

Plus I think a team like GSW with their leadership should keep him in check.

Other/ Kispert. I know this wont be popular with his defense this high but he quietly had a really good combine showing.
