What is the topic here? are we supposed to list who we think has the highest ceilings or what?
If so I don't have any idea why you chose 11 upsides instead of just 5 or 10 lol
I do think it is funny your first response came with someone who has the number 11 in their username though
Anyway the highest floor to ceiling ratio prospect in respects to someone with a low ass floor aka not that good yet
but has the tools nba body athleticism etc has to be Keon followed by Thor and ending with Brown...
As far as just highest upside regardless of current skill imo it is easily Suggs and Mobley with a shout out to Barnes and Kuminga
if their games evolve offensively to scoring outside the mid range.
Green has the highest ceiling of the prospects with flair and seat selling skillsets along with probably Keon and definitely throw somebody like Kuminga in there as a highlight reel.
Cade has the highest ceiling as shooter but overall I think he has become overrated somewhat with his lack of attacking dribble drive skill / meh explosiveness I would not be surprised if Bouknight or Suggs have a better career if Cade doesn't do more attacking the rim

11 is the most powerful number in Universe. Prob just shouldn’t have had ceilings. Best case scenario for all players top 11

This is a really good draft. Second set of 11 players is loaded too. Lots of guys I had to consider 8 or 9 through 11

No.

12-22: Giddey, Usman G,Zaire, Davion Mitchell, Kispert, Kai Jones, Greg brown, Wagner, moody, Jared Butler, i Jackson

That’s a really high ceiling 11 there too. But it’s third group of 11 that’s still loaded with high ceiling talents too.

23-33+: Josh Christopher, Bones, Vrenz Bliejenbergh, Thomas, Mann, Wieskamp, Kessler Edwards, Ayo, Todd, PrimO….

This draft is loaded: Sharife Cooper, McBride, Queta, roko P, Duarte,…..

And on and on, I Like: Ej Onu, Yves Pons, ibou D,

Cade isn't even in my top 11. You can't just gain burst if you don't have it.

Yup. As Luka has proven with his amazing burst he uses when getting into the paint.

People don't remember what a terror Luka was attacking the rim. He doesn't dunk as often these days, but he's always had a fantastic ability to get into the teeth of the defense. Cade's never shown that.

We're questioning whether Cade can get pass the Adrien Payne's of the world or were we questioning him getting by athletic guards?

I’m saying if he can’t reliably get to the rack against college defenses, it’s basically out of the question that he’s going to do it in the NBA.

Amen bro. He better be elite at hitting step back 3's if he's gonna be settling for them in the league. It's going to be a different story when the line is 2 feet further back and he's got a lengthy 6'9" brother in his jock strap.

Smaller guys than him are 3-point bombers in the NBA, so I'm not too worried about him there. The paint is a different story though...he doesn't have the strength and athleticism to finish like a wing, and he doesn't have the quickness/handle/shiftiness to finish like a guard. I think the last several games of the season, in which he launched ~10 threes per game and got about half his points from behind the arc, are a good indication of how he'll play in the NBA. He'll have to take and make a lot of 3's to be an All-Star like people are expecting.

Yea, I was just referencing the 3's because when he's in the league the book on him is going to be to take away his 3's and force him to beat his man off the bounce. He's not going to be getting the same wide open looks in the NBA from 3 that he did in college.

You seem to think that you can "take away" someone's ability to shoot the three pointer without making it easier to drive on you. To stop step back 3pointers one must make it easier to drive on you. Nothing happens in a vacuum.

Guys will take away the 3 because his first step is so bad. Even if he counters tight D with a drive attempt, recovering or rotating against him will be a cinch for NBA athletes.

Keep firing up the Cade hate post every chance you get so their easy to find to quote when hes rookie of the year.

I actually don't hate Cade at all, and for the record I have stated that I think he will be a very solid pro. There are however some very obvious limitations to his game that will prevent him from ever being a guy who can lead a team to a championship as the number one option.

I imagine he'll end up similar to Saddiq Bey. Elite scorer at the college level, high-IQ guy, but athletic limitations will force him into more of a floor-spacer role in the NBA. Useful player, but definitely not one you should draft in the high lottery.
