Kuminga has some plays that are pretty jaw dropping like the one where he absorbed the contact, hung in the air, and still finished. But then others where it seems like he hasn't even learned how to dribble or pass.

the thing i try and take away from Summer League are the possibilities. So mistakes i can live with while he's here in a "featured" role. as long as the things that he'll actually be asked to do are performed well then i'm good to go. With Kuminga it's blank slate possibilities because he's not gonna be pigeon holed into anything specific once he maxes out. He can be a legit wildcard on a team like the Warriors. The physical gifts can't give you anything but optimism though. Can't wait to see what Draymond has in store for him development wise.

Kuminga most def raw but man, oozes potential, also when he's on the court his physical presence is just strong, he's 6-8 but you can tell he's a real 6-8 and plays/looks even bigger, just built different from a physical standpoint

but yea, one play he'll look like young Bron, another he'll look like Anthony Randolph...but so far i'll take it for his age/experience.

Moody tho looked like a vet tho other than not really knowing how to drive yet, his off-ball relocation, shooting, rebounding, defense should get him real minutes pretty quickly...just such a good fit for what we do here

you'd be hard pressed to find a better fit. giving me Brogdon rook year vibes in terms of seamless transition onto a team doing things i was already doing before i got here.

I know people were pulling for GS to trade those picks (7 & 14) to make sure they hit their window with Curry and Thompson and Green - but they did it the right way with Both Kuminga and Moody. The NBA has changed - there's no real positions other than center - everyone else has to defend everyone else and rebound - and Kuminga and Moody fit the new NBA - they're so switchable offensively and defensively. Moody's no little guy himself and also has a strong build. If they should have made a trade, it was with Wiseman, but I think that boat has sailed - his value is down, and they might as well keep him.

Devin Vassell is a nice player. Should easily be a double-digit scorer. Nice high release and shooting touch out to 28 feet.
Desmond Bane may be a starting-caliber combo guard. He could be the reason the Grizzlies traded Grayson Allen.
Udoka Azubuike is a defensive presence who catches and dunks just about everything.

still wild seeing Atlanta come out from this draft with both JJ and Sharife, gonna be interesting to see them in that system, tho I'm not sure there many minutes available to JJ at this point with Big O, Collins and Clint already in that front court.

Jalen Johnson with a cool 20/10 on 8-12 in his first game

Legit should be a good environment for him with the coach and the culture. Hawks put themselves in position to run an A team B team situation with that roster and the player types they have. I think Capela/Collins turns into Okongwu/Johnson sooner than folks think.

Didn’t watch but seems like Barnes had himself a great all-around game after a tough first quarter.

Sengun has been coached well.

Totally vertical on defense.

Strong boxouts.

81.2% FT in Turkey. Very nice stroke from the FT line.

I really like this kid. He has a decent chance of being better than Green.

He might be one of those, "take 1-2 years to adjust to the league" players.

But this dude doesn't play big at all. Has that Jokic cement feet feel, barely jump on the court.

Alpy is really gonna struggle in space on D in this league, but offense as good as advertised so far

Mobley is pretty clearly going to be a huge work in progress until he gains some strength.

In terms of doing big man things yeah but the skill is definitely there.

Jalen showing decent primary ball handler potential. Will still fit best next to a true one for now. But yeah he a bucket getter.

Also like the effort J Chris is giving on the defensive end.
