2004 born, therefore class of 2023. The kid oozes potential. Still little known outside of the spanish bbll-junkies circles cause he was in a stacked Real Madrid junior team and had a minor role but everytime i watch him he's grown phisically and gamewise exponentially.
you can watch the games he played with Spain in the u18 challenger this summer here
https://www.youtube.com/user/MAKBASKETTV/search?query=spaini might or might not make a highlight compilation.
IMO he is maybe, arguably, surely, the most intriguing spanish prospect since Rubio and maybe top 3 currently in Europe (I'd say 2nd best but i'm gonna play it safe)

Juan Núñez may be further ahead talent-wise, but Miller might just be Spain's best NBA prospect of the 2004-born crop – and maybe in general around their youth basketball scene.

BTW Real Madrid is missing half the roster so he could see his first minutes in the Euroleague tomorrow

If you like Ousmane Dieng, you'll like Baba. He may be a bit more athletic and aggressive than Ousmane. Shooting is somewhat TBD for both of them. I agree he's a mid-late lottery prospect at this point.

Been thinking about Ous while watching Baba tape. What I like about Baba as opposed to Ous is how many times we see Baba emote and flex on opponents. Think they both still have some work when it comes to their strength and not avoiding contact but Baba seems a little more fearless than Ousmane. Really enjoying watching all his passing highlights too and I trust FSU as a developmental path for long forward types.

I really love Baba's potential. With that being said, I'm a little worried about his NBA prospects due to what one international scout kept saying. Now it might be a misread or misjudgment of Miller's situation, but the scout was adamant that Baba has no passion for the game and that his body language was terrible. I hope he's wrong, but with little tape to go off of and see for myself, I can't wait to lay eyes on him at Florida State.

Well, judging from some of the tape I saw, I was underwhelmed.
Granted, these are short game highlight vids, but these are the most recent games we have of him and he doesn't really do much to impact the game, on either end that I am seeing:
I'm just not seeing a lottery pick here (many are calling him a lottery pick, though). Maybe he shows some good development at FSU..there's certainly some potential there with the size and flashes of skill shown at a young age.. but as of now, I've got him as a 2nd round draft and stash.

Anyone know why Miller didn't play in this scrimmage from last month?
Can't be because he's just a freshman and still learning the play book - fellow freshman Cam Corhen got plenty of minutes.
Maybe Miller was injured?

He missed the u18 eurobasket de to an injury so he might have been still nursing it.

ok. that's probably what happened. it's just a scrimmage so anyone who's slightly hurt (especially someone who's a potential 1st round pick) they're gonna sit them out.
