I can see the Pacers taking him should the lottery go against them and their pick falls from 5.

Fast fwd slomo Kyle Anderson vibes.

I like his game. As he fills in he could be a dynamic 4/5 in the Draymond way with more length.

He's been around the game his entire life, what's his excuse for being a non shooting threat?

You guys would know a lot more than I would but just reading and watching some highlights on this kid, I feel like he's a Day 1 contributor just based on his defense, with the hope that his shot eventually comes along. My Wizards pick 10, I think he'd be a great pick up for them considering they don't really need his offense with Beal, KP, KCP, Kuzma all on the team but they do need a guy on defense that can go out and try and guard the opposing team's best player. Thoughts?

10 seems about right give or take a few picks either way

he shot 36% on catch and shoot 3's this season. That's an outstanding number for a dude who's only a freshman, a young freshman too (still only 18 yrs old), let along a player at his size, 6'9"

I've got you guys taking Duren. I've got Sochan going 8th. But if sochan is still there at 10, could definitely be a good pick for you guys.

He shot 58.9% from the free throw line.

The Wizards don't need Duren. They'll be playing Porzingis at center full time, plus they already have Gafford who is the same type of player as Duren.

KP will play center almost exclusively. And Deni plays more SF than PF. But your point stands. The Wizards don't have a lot of minutes at PF behind Kuzma and Rui.

The Wizards might consider trading Rui for a PG. If I was running the team, I'd shop Kuzma for the highest pick I could get. I like Kuzma on his current $13M deal, but he is going to opt out in a year and I don't want to pay him his market value.

I think if you're the wizards you need to figure out if Beal is staying or going. If Beal is staying, you trade the 10th pick for a veteran - someone who is ready now to help win some games.

If Beal is leaving, you keep the pick. and now that your franchise player, your leading scorer at SG is gone, you can potentially take someone like Johnny Davis.

Not worried. His form and balance are messy, but I love his overall dexterity and touch. He can be coached up on the mechanics, but touch is bit more 'got it or you dont'.

I dont hesitate to take him at 10 unless Wiz brass feel Eason or Daniels are legit cant miss guys.

As to the positional need, as nate said, one of Rui or Kuz have to go. They are both entering contract years and have positive value.
I think Deni, Sochan, and KP at the 3-5 is really dynamic.

Kawhi is a former football player that took basketball serious latter than normal hence his massive increase in skill from being lower skilled. What's this guy's excuse?

Sochan has really good form on his J, I am totally buying him improving his shooting consiterably as he develops.
