Norchad Omier

Super raw kid but he is tearing up the Sun Belt. He's toolsy AF. Don't say nobody told you when he hits one day!

I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

hmm, interesting. he really pops with his size, fluidity, athleticism and explosiveness in the limited game action in that video.

looking at his stats and physical profile. Has shot just 1/5 from 3 during 2 seasons of college ball - obviously very low for a guy who's only 6'7". Guessing the lack of shooting and coming from a smaller school is why he's so under the radar.

On the plus side, he has an impressive block rate of 9%. Solid BPM of 5.6. Really good net rating each of his 2 yrs in college. Across the board he's shown good improvement in pretty much every category from freshman season to this one. Insanely high TS% and PER so far this season.

Perhaps a good 2nd rounder sleeper pick..

Has some preposterous counting stats but that's mostly a product of the awful schedule. He's been a dud in his 2 games against actual high major teams this year (Illinois and TX Tech). He had 9 points and 9 turnovers in those two games...

And the internet says he has a 6'8" wingspan, so he's not an outlier in terms of length.

Alize Johnson vibes maybe? He should definitely transfer up to a high major though.

Man this kid ate Indiana alive on the boards which really was the difference in that game. 6'7", not really a shooter...could he be like a super small 5? If the poster above is correct and his wingspan is 6'8" that's a really tough sell, but he plays with great energy and instincts

Norchad will be a decent NBA player.
