Bryce McGowens (Nebraska)

Bryce McGowens from Nebraska is in my opinion a pretty interesting freshman who isn't talked much right now... or maybe I am missing it.
Anyway, he has nice physical profile for a guard, being 6'7 with 6'9 wingspan. He need to add strength, currently being at 180 lbs, but he isn't a soft player and actually draws a lot of contact, can finish through contact and gets to the line on a pretty high rate (& FTA per game).
His counting numbers are pretty good too, averaging 17p, 5.5r, 1.5 assists per game. His 3pt shooting is currently major glaring question mark - he is shooting 28% on 5 attempts per game, but on the other hand most of his shots are though, off the dribble attempts, and he is actually hitting 83% of his FTs.
What is really intriguing, besides his length and fluidity, as well as his ability to draw fouls at high rate, is his pretty advanced handles and really nice feel for the game on the offensive end of the floor.
Eye test looks much better than advanced stats test at this moment. And he is still a quite young player - maybe a bit older for a freshman, but still won't be 20 years old before the season starts. So a lot of room to grow.
Also, his good physical profile offers some promise on the defensive end too.
To me he should be a late 1st, early 2nd type of pick, but could easily end up being steal even in that range.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter.
