How high do you think Kofi Cockburn goes in the draft 20-25 years ago? Teams were hungry for big men after Duncan and Shaq came in and immediately had success. Is it crazy to think Kofi has a shot at #1 overall between 98 and 01?

Yeah. He's big and strong but even for the period in question he'd need to be a better defender/rim protector, a better athlete and/or show more as a passer.

He'd be a guy a team picks in the lottery, and regrets it for years to come. He'd likely have had an Eric Dampier career back then. Who knows about now.

I just can’t imagine a team would consider him at #1. He’s too inconsistent. He’ll dominate the game on both sides for short stretches and then do nothing for like 7 min. I agree lotto pick though for sure.

I think a team takes him in the second round this draft. Thoughts?
