If you squint really hard does anyone else see Sengun in him?

Maybe on offense. Timme's lack of rebounding, steals, and blocks makes him unplayable at the next level, though. Segun checked out on both ends of the floor.

way too small as an NBA big with very little space or perimeter skills, bad defender...don't see a role for him in the NBA outside of MAYBE a 3rd unit scorer but that's about it...will most likely come back for his senior yr and then off to europe.

I’m not saying he will be good, but people saying the same things about Sengun. Can’t shoot, post play had no place in the modern NBA, etc.

Sengun is special because of his passing and decision making.

Timmie is good scoring in the post, so is Sengun. But Sengun brings a ton more than that.

Alperen is getting near 1 BPG and 1 SPG in 18mpg in the NBA. Timmie isnt close to those numbers in much more PT vs much worse competition.

Sengun isnt unathletic, he can be slow laterally on switches but vertically he is a decent athlete and his timing / smarts on defense are really underrated, especially in the post.

I wish that Timme had a higher ceiling because he's pretty fun to watch in college, but NBA spacing and schemes don't seem suited to his game. Maybe next year he comes back and is shooting 40% from three and someone feels better about having him as a small-ball five, but he's going to have a limited role in the NBA. Overseas I think he will fit in better, even if he's still a subpar defender.

I think he would have been a decent second unit scoring big if he came to the NBA a decade ago but his type of game got squeezed out and he doesn’t offer a dynamic enough game to contribute in the league. He coulda been a Leon Powe type energy scorer off the bench but those guys are long gone.

Great basketball player though I think he will succeed in Europe.

Timme might make an NBA squad as a 12-15 man on the bench of the right team. Maybe he gets 10 minutes a game. He would be wise to attend Drew Hanlon's skills facility. He needs to extend his shooting range if he has any chance of getting off the pine except in garbage minutes. His footwork is great. But he'll need more than that in the NBA.

He will probably get drafted in the 2nd round.

He can probably ends up overseas.

If he gets an outside shot he could be a Kevin Love type.

An all-nba, repeat all star and Olympian?

Zero chance of that.

If he could shoot as well as Love he'd be a pretty close comp actually. Problem is he can't shoot.

Love was also a better rebounder and passer.
