I hadn’t really watched anything on him or really even thought about him and then this tweet came out from Givony.

Not a lot of guys move that well at that size. I’m not sure if he’s really 7-1, but if so, he has a super nice looking shot and can move like a player much smaller than he is.

Taller, skinnier Jaden McDaniels. Which I didn't think was physically possible but...here we are.

He's a development pick. If you're willing to wait he could be an interesting switchable defender but you're probably not getting much from him for 2 years.

I would put him in the same class as Poku as a project. Just a lottery ticket for a franchise that will likely not have the patience to redeem it.

Wait did he put his name into the draft?

As of right now he is a complete non factor as a player. I wouldnt even think about waisting a 1st round pick on him until he shows he can actually play basketball.

Him being 7'1 is pretty pointless at the moment. He is a horrible scorer inside the 3pt line (and its not like he was lighting it up from the 3 either), he doesnt know what the word rebound means. And he will block a random shot here and there, but he isnt some defensive force because of his size. If anything he is a defensive liability because while yes he is fluid for being 7'1, he still gets blown bye by perimeter players and again he cant play defense inside either.

Dont get me wrong, not saying he will never be a good player. I get the intrigue with him because of his height and his shooting stroke. But that is all it is at the moment. He is Bruno Caboclo 2 years away from being 2 years away at the moment. He has to show me a little bit of something before I throw a 1st round pick his way.

I think he has a chance to go late first, but second round is more likely (and he could even go undrafted). That kind of fluidity and shooting in someone that big is rare, and I can see someone hoping to use him as a power forward who can offer some weak-side shot blocking while also being able to stretch the court. Sort of the John Collins archetype (but not as good of a rebounder).
