Holy cow, that John Butler Jr guy can flat shoot it but sports reference has him listed at 7'1" 190 lbs.

One of the craziest things I have ever seen, Butler Jr:

31 Games Played 21/22
3PT - 1.1 of 2.7 - 39%
FT - 0.4 of 0.8 - 44%

Wut

Might want to merge this with predraft events. Lofton has looked good early. Martin is aggressive, but with mixed results. Trevion Williams might be very matchup dependent in the NBA, struggling to guard Butler.

Much as I like Schmitz and the film breakdowns I hate that they cut away from the actual scrimmage to do them

Not the most impressive showing from Leonard Miller thus far. Understand the ceiling on Cockburn is limited but hard not to see him get some kind of guaranteed NBA money. Could have come out last year no question

That is a crazy stat, my guess is only attempting .8 FTA per game probably does him no favors.

Scotty Pippen Jr is so much thinner and shorter than his dad. He is still a hard nose defender it looks like from this scrimmage.

What have you noticed about Miller? He had one travel and one good post entry feed. Besides that, I couldn't see much.

Terquavion Smith is having a great game, as is Scottie.

I agree with you on Cockburn. Not sure if he is drafted, but he is at worst a really tough ball screen setter up top.

He's been pretty rough defensively even accounting for what defense is in a scrimmage context. Lost his man multiple times and has gotten bodied trying to compete down low. Shot looks better than it was but it hasnt fallen.

Agree about Terquavion hes been the scrimmage stand out.

Kenneth Lofton deserves a shout-out too absolutely rooting for him to succeed

In the 2nd half, Miller is clearly struggling against the physicality, especially down low. He is camping out on the perimeter and isn't doing much.

He's had a really good scrimmage. Reminds me a little bit of Grant Williams, body style wise.

Jaylin Williams moves like a wing. Handles the rock like one too.

Michael Foster looks like he's lost quite a bit of baby fat since I last watched him with the Ignite

I didn't get to watch as much of this second game, very tight here late though.

Dereon Seabron is incredibly aggressive attacking the basket. Plays a relentless style and flashed the same thing here. Need to see more from 3 point land and I don't think he is a PG though.

It's a shame because he has so much skill, if he had his dad's body he would be a #1 overall pick.
