You never draft based on need this high in the draft.
That being said, Wood is an expiring next season, lockerroom cancer and doesn't really impact the game in terms of winning.
He's not going to get paid by the Rockets, that's for sure. I don't think he'll ever sniff another minute for them again to be honest.
So one of the rare instances when you get both the BPA and you fill a big need from day one at the same time. It's Paolo pretty easily here.
