Why are people voting Duren when they drafted Chet? I think it is whichever wing you are confident will become an elite shooter, and Ousmane feels like a Presti guy.

OKC should take Duren here, they need a physical presence to complement Chet and protect him. Big frontcourts are making a comeback anyway, so might as well get in front of the trend.

I disagree but am glad someone chimed in!

I think it's gonna be awhile if/when Chet can be a full time center, and Duren at 12 is a steal. If Chet does get to where he's ready to take over, you've got the guy who's probably going to return the best value in a trade

Went with my best projected shooter on the board in Branham.

As much as I don't want them to, Thunder should grab Duren here and basically build a formidable frontcourt in one draft. The upside of Chet - Duren is the whole point of stockpiling draft capital. Thunder might never again be in position to land two unicorn bigs in one draft, and that's saying something given their cache of picks in the coming years. Chet and Duren are also very young and fit a rebuild team. They would both see big minutes on an NBA court as rookies. I would be ecstatic to walk out of this draft with Chet - Duren. You're looking at potentially two top-5 talents.

I went Jalen Williams here. I understand the case for Duren but I think JW is going to bring more value due to his archetype and OKC needs shooters/wings next to Giddey/Shai

I see JW as a well-rounded piece with a solid floor but I lean towards Duren having more unicorn potential and greater upside. But you would know more about fit and roster balance.

I don't see unicorn stuff w Duren tbh. He's got a couple nice passing highlights and he's very young but I don't see "big man with guard skills" when I watch his game. Think he'll be a solid big with starter potential but his offense hasn't blossomed in the versatile way that leads me to think he'll be handling/shooting the way unicorn bigs are.

I don't think Chet is a full-time center. Functionally, his role is likely to be similar to Jonathan Isaac, imo. He's also BPA.

He doesn't have the lateral mobility of Isaac and I think is going to struggle to defend power forwards full time. I think more is being made of his slight frame in regards to defending centers than ought to be. He defender plenty of players who were much heavier than him and could move him off spots, but his length, balance, and timing were about to counteract that quite a bit. I fully expect him to get beat up a bit his first couple years ago because, yes, he is painfully thin...but I don't see him having success if he's expected to be a power forward.

Chet and Duren would be illegal.

Because Chet is a PF who can play center and Duren is a center. Nobody should want Chet playing Center early in his career. Plus having two quality rim protectors, both lob threats and one a vertical spacer, would be kind of elite.

I think you have to go Tari here but could see Branham whos shooting compliments SGA and Josh really well.

Duren is another option, but not sure Presti would invest much in a big that cant shoot.

Paolo is BPA, don't see how that is writing of Sengun.

Voted Duren. Didn't want a big that can't shoot in the first place but players I wanted at #12 (AJG/Davis and Sochan) are gone in this mock so I would still pick BPA. Duren has a high ceiling and I like the fit with Chet.

If Duren wins this close poll I see the Hornets taking Eason at #13 and Mark Williams at #15. Not sure who the Cavs will take at #14.

I don't get why OKC would take two bigs? I'm going with Malaki Branham here which to me a is a clear no brainer. One of the better shooters in this draft and he'd fit perfectly next to SGA and Giddey. He's got a ton of offensive potential which is what OKC should be after at this point in the draft after taking Chet...not another rim rolling big...Not sure what you guys are thinking here.
