Potentially the steal of the draft?

-Just turned 19 like a week ago
-6'11" with a 7'3" wingspan
-Rebounding machine. His last 7 games: 12 boards, 11 boards, 10 boards, 9 boards, 6 boards, 11 boards, 11 boards and he's not even playing a ton of minutes. A 19% rebounding % each of the past 2 seasons
-3.9% blocks rate this season. 6.5% blocks rate last season are encouraging marks for a kid who posted those numbers at age 18 and 17, respectively

-Shot 32% from 3 at 2022 FIBA tournament...on 8 attempts per game
-This season he's at 32% as well. But he's trending in a good direction. First 17 games this season 30% from 3, compared to 38% from 3 over his last 6 games (about the same volume in both samples, around 3.5 - 4.0 attempts per game).

-He's playing in the 3rd division of Spain pro basketball so likely a draft and stash if he does get drafted this year

18 year olds (he's 18 in all these clips) who have these types of ball skills at 6'11" (who can also rebound and block shots) don't grow on trees..

Seems like this guy will rise like a meteor in the workouts weeks and end up being a lottery pick.

IDK about lottery but I could certainly see him rising up boards. Will be interesting to see if he declares.

Since he played this season in Spain's 3rd division (and is still young, just turned 19) he might stay in Europe for another year, try to prove himself next season in a tough league and then go for the 2024 draft. We'll see..

Literally not a single defender cared to defend his 3pt shot in that reel.

IDK which video you're referring to. I posted 2 of them.

In the first video, the following shots are contested:

The video in the tweet. Either no contest or extremely weak closeouts.
