Just checked him out. I like his game. But it’s not a great fit for Sac. His rebounding, age and IQ are good fits. His sub par three shooting, lack of explosive athleticism and size are bad fits.

IMO the Kings want to play Murray more at the three. What they need is a 4/5 that can play with Sabonis and in small ball and protect the rim, rebound and add athleticism….and ideally shooting. I know that’s a unicorn type, I think the Kings are going to go after the player that meets most of the requirements with weak side defense prioritized. Maybe they know they can get that in FA, that would change the draft equation and an older, high IQ, solid rebounding smaller wing could be a pick. McNair likes older prospects.

But from a current team need standpoint TJD fits much better. And I’m one of those people who thinks as you go further down the draft fit starts to matter if guys are basically on the same tier. We’ll see if McNair thinks that way too, we don’t know yet.

Ausar Thompson for DC. They need a point and a guy with star upside.

GG Jackson for Utah's 2nd pick. They have all the time in the world.

I think narratives influenced even on general managera, elite coaches etc. Couple years behins za shooting(specially bigs) role playeri were highly overvalued, overpriced, but they too many Times disappered when matters most. Aaron Gordon/Caleb Martin/Derrick White are actual trending all round hustle heroes and probably some franchises would bet on guy who reminds on that type long term playoff production. So Taylor Hendricks is safe top10 prospect and Cason Wallace lottery bound. Colby Jones would be first rounder, Jordan Walsh early second& one hot take- Mavericks would choose Hood Schifino, maybe even trading up for him
