He could be the steal of the draft, he reminds me of Shawn Marion
TSJ reminds me of Herro or Maxey in that he could be a guy who get draft at #15, and then five years later, people will be saying he should have been drafted top 3 in his draft class.

Think he’s the most NBA ready talent on offense. Has the body already too.
See some Harden in his game. Will not get his shot cleaned up with a higher release.

He is ok but a NBA level wing made him look helpless.

I have TJ Shannon fatigue at this point, we've been talking about him for like 4 years now, he should've declared at least two years ago

17th year college player has a great year, we've seen this with Duarte. Maybe he's better (I think he's better) but he's a late first at best.

His legal issues are not helping. Until that's settled, I honestly have no idea where he's gonna go in the draft.

He is RJ Barrett mix with Eric Gordon, he should be top 5 pick if not for his legal issue

You ignoring the improvement he did this year in his game, especially defensively

Did he get cleared of his erhm... legal issues, yet? Until he's exonerated, I'm not sure if he's draftable at all.

He’s like a homeless man’s, smaller version of Miles Bridges in every sense
I’m unimpressed by his efficiency and I think his jumper and defense will be exposed in the NBA. But such an athletic prospect is someone a team will always take a chance on in the first. He should almost certainly go in the 20s.

A good coach can mold him into a very useful player.

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/40298754/terrence-shannon-jr-legal-team-show-video-evidence-trialAt a hearing in Lawrence, Kansas, Shannon's lawyers argued that the video evidence they will present during the trial will show another man standing next to the alleged victim the night of the alleged sexual assault at the same bar in Lawrence, which Judge Amy Hanley called "relevant" to the case during her ruling. That "third-party defendant," according to Shannon's legal team, had been accused of sexually touching another woman in a nonconsensual manner two weeks earlier at the bar where the woman in Shannon's case had told police in September that a man had sexually penetrated her with his fingers. She later identified Shannon via Google search.
This is a pretty big update on that. There is no way to call it but this might be enough to establish reasonable doubt.

The info in these articles suggest prosecution may have very difficult time. Trial begins this week so may have resolution prior to draft.

I think he will go early 2nd. I doubt a team uses a guaranteed contract on him in the first with his legal issues, fair or not.

Not seeing Shawn Marion at all. He feels like a guy that will max out as a solid bench player.

He should go to the Hornets. The allegations make it clear that he's a perfect fit for their team culture.

a specialist. transition specialist and left hand drive specialist.
His three point shot is a huge minus -- I am seeing chris douglas roberts out of memphis via nets
lot of eric bledsoe speed ..........i am seeing derrick jones jr/thaddeus young left hand drive style in an obviously smaller much faster guard body lwithout the size pluses of being able to play power forward like those guys which i think would be more beneficial as a power forward...also why sean marion was successful
his jump shot feels is darn near unplayable in half court sets where the paint is stacked imo in nba but when guys like westbrook are doing it he can carve a role
like power forward tho; i feel that speed would be more beneficial at point; ala beldsoe; westbrook, barboso

He's just way smaller than guys he is being compared to (Marion, Thaddeus Young, DJJ, Bridges). He's, IMO a shooting guard who could play some spot minutes at 3, but is best not. That's perfectly fine, but I think it matters to keep in mind. I don't have a great comp for him (maybe ... poor man's Jalen Green).
I also have concerns about the release on his jumper looking a bit slow (though it looks a bit faster off the dribble) and I also think he benefited a lot from Coleman Hawkins' passing and basketball IQ. The fact that Shannon had a big jump the first year of playing with Hawkins, and that he had another big jump that coincided with Hawkins improving his jumper and just becoming a more steady creator (same assists, way less turnovers) really worries me that Shannon's production is inflated from playing next to a better player.

His legal issues shouldn't have bearing on his draft spot...because he'll either be exonerated or convicted a couple of weeks before the draft. From what I've seen, there seems to be a belief that he'll be cleared...so make your draft predictions for where he'll land - it'll either be there or just NOT drafted at all (if convicted)...6'7, 217 2-way player - sign me up.
