My bet is Buzelis. The way he is described is different from how he plays. He is a tall/long power forward with some playmaking upside and secondary rim protection, but he really can't shoot at the moment. Teams are going to have to believe in that shot, and I think the area in the draft where that bet starts to be reasonable is 13-20.

I still can't believe everyone has Sheppard as a lottery pick so it's possible he is a "surprise" fall. He's the only guy being mentioned going in the lottery I feel doesn't actually belong. I suppose with Topic's injury and WS maybe teams panic and he falls as well.

Holland, not really much of a drop though if he only falls 1 spot.
Topic potentially too if teams are scared by the injuries

Sounds like Buzelis has worked on his shot and is shooting well in workouts so my pick is probably wrong lol. If he's a 35 percent three point shooter that does a lot for his NBA future.

One of Topic/Dillingham is my guess.
If one of them is still on the board at 9, they could be in for a long night on draft night.

Ron Holland drops

I have either Topic or Buzelis to drop out the top ten.

Every big board has Matas ranked over Ron Holland, at this point. It will be interesting to see where Vecenie ends up.

I'd say Topic if teams just decide to take him off of their board because of injury concerns. I would say Dillingham if Klutch wasn't behind them. They'll strong arm some team in the lottery into taking him. Out of the list OP posted I'll go with Holland, who could slide down to 18-20 pretty easily. Even though I'd take Holland over many guys ranked ahead of him, including Clingan, Sheppard and Buzelis.

Topic or Holland seem most likely, even though I think both are solidly top 10 players in this draft.

My guess is whoever it is gets picked by Miami

All the news about Devin Carter moving up is bad news for him.
Also, with Topic falling into that range I could see Dillingham falling all the way down to Sacramento and replacing Monk pretty easily.

topic. the injury will scare teams off. besides the fact he was pretty bad in general in 2024.

I think Dillingham is the hardest guy in this draft to define a range for. I could see him going #4 or going at #17.
