I'd have UConn over Kansas and Villanova over Louisville, but historically Kansas probably has a good argument to be in that top tier.

Somehow my brain just transposed them there, agree. Tier one should be:

Kentucky, Duke, UNC + maybe UConn and/or Kansas

Tier 2 should be

Kansas, UCLA, Indiana + maybe Villanova

Tier 3 is probably wide open for argument.

Not sure why UCLA is still considered a blue blood at this point...

UCONN has replaced UCLA as a blue blood.

Duke, UK, KU, UNC, and UCONN are the blue bloods.

And the tier ranking really will just depend on the certain year.

Duke should be in tier 1 and I’m saying that as a KU guy.

I HATE Kansas and you are severely underrating them here. They are 100% top tier and may in fact be the top blue blood of all the blue bloods.

Duke may in fact be the team that is overrated here. Look at the traditional Blue Bloods....duke, Kansas, UNC, Kentucky, UCLA, Indiana.

What do the 5 teams not named Duke have in common? They've all proven they can win with different coaches. Duke has exactly ZERO national titles without Coach K. Let's just see how that program shakes out over the next decade or so. They might be on the way down in the tier list.

Is IU still living off their reputation from the 80s? Gonzaga is more of a blue blood than them at this point.
