We really need a dedicated thread for this dude. He's a year younger than Queen, similar archetype and even better stats. Right now he's my #1 Freshman statistically.

He’s #2 in my stat rankings. Seems like he is what people wanted Cade to be.

How is he not on draft boards yet!

This is why I don’t look at draft boards anymore lol

Lower recruit rankings. It just takes these guys a little bit to get noticed, that's all.

Seems like an easy lotto/top 10 shout right now based on the numbers, but I want to see how he holds up against better comp

My complaint about this guy would be can Georgetown plays someone? anyone? They have to be playing the easiest schedule in the country.

348th of 364 in strength of schedule so far.

The only game that feels usable is Notre Dame and Sorber was meh

You are correct but I would point out Maryland has had a similarly soft schedule and so has BYU.

As a Hoyas fan, I'm honestly quite surprised we even have a talent that potentially has a 1st round grade, let alone a potential lotto grade. But yeah, let's see what happens once they get into conference play.

Ok I've seen enough. Watching him vs WVU. Sorber is just good. He's damn good.

I have a Horace Grant comp for him. A an old-school PF because he's much too small to start at the 5 in the NBA. PF is an extinct position in today's NBA but he does show some potential as a shooter and passer. Looks a little slow. Losing size might allow him to defend the perimeter at the next level.

Watching Sorber against Seton Hall...man this kid's defense is elite. People know all about Cooper Flagg's d, but I'm not sure Sorber isn't in the conversation for his defense. He just does everything so damn well. His rotations, his verticality, his anticipation...god damn elite for his age.

I think he could end up prospect 5 after Cooper, Harper, Demin and Kasparas.

He is just got at basketball. If he had a 3pt shot he would have an argument for going 3. He really does just about everything else at least at an average level. Passing, def rb, off rb, defense, STOCKs, FT% (For a big), switchy enough, defends the rim, makes the right reads on both sides of the ball.

Hard to see him not at minimum as a lotto guy.

Seton Hall is one of the worst offensive teams in the country. Need to see more.

They rank 70 out of 360 schools on offense. But sure keep waiting my guy lol.

You're using efficiency metrics when they play one of the slowest paces in college basketball. They're 5-8 and have failed to crack 60 points five times.

Wanting to see Sorber against someone better than them is not asking much here. Marquette, UConn, Xavier and St. John's are much better litmus tests than a team like Seton Hall which was decimated by NIL and the transfer portal.

Imagine someone "analyzing" offenses using points per game.

I like Sorber, too. He is very ambidextrous when blocking shots and has fantastic feel.

Said it on the Boston board was curious if this guy was a kind of Bam lite type of player.
