Brooks Barnhizer (senior), Northwestern

Figured I'd just make a thread on the guy.
So no one's really talking about him, but Brooks Barnhizer for Northwestern has really started cooking after missing the first four games of the season. He's averaging 20ppg, 8rpg, 3 apg, 2 spg as a 6'6 SG. He's a senior, but his improvement the last two years is noticeable. Obviously, I am not sure on his measurables, but he seems like he's going to be an All-league performer in the Big Ten this year and thus should get a real look by NBA squads.
He's bigger/more physical than AJ Green (Bucks), Colby Jones (Kings) and Chris Duarte (Bulls) and more athletic than Kevin Huerter (Kings). He also shoots 80% from the free throw line, so he projects to be a good shooter at the next level.
Anyone have any thoughts on him? I think he could be a second round pick, possibly even late first rounder.

Another monster statline for this cat today against DePaul. I think he's going to be First Team All-Big Ten.
21 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks.

So Thunder picked him and he's going to be on a two-way. We'll see what he turns into. The pathway to minutes isn't there in OKC, however, their development system is really hot right now for obvious reasons.

OKC fan here .
What does he brings to the table as a player ?
And what are his weaknesses.

I have called him a Swiss-army-knife type of player. So he's a big guard (6'6) with a motor, can handle, is strong, can shoot, rebound and pass. He even has a nasty streak (and if you hear him speak, you'd think he was sort of country like Mike Miller or Jason 'White Chocolate' Williams).
My main weakness with him would be what does he hang his hat on as a professional? He does a lot of things well, but he's not elite. He's about as good of a role player prototype on the wing as you can ask for. As you can see from this thread, no one aside from me wanted to talk about him because he doesn't have star appeal, I guess.
The only difference I see with people like Liam McNeeley and him is age. If Brooks would have left Northwestern and say went to Duke/Kentucky/Arizona in the portal, I think he would have received similar respect that Sion James did (who was at Tulane first and no one considered him a future NBA draft pick).
I think ultimately what is going to happen is, Brooks is going to be on a two-way, go to the G-League, totally wreck shop and eventually get promoted to a standard contract in OKC.

Got it . So someone who you put in and he doesn’t make you lose his minutes much. Hopefully there’s part of his game that he can improve to ensure he get a few more contracts in the nba .
Probably start as a two way.

He could become an elite shooter though. He has really good mechanics and his free throw percentage tells the story because he got fouled a lot. He's also strong, so who knows what happens once he's in an NBA weight room? Like I said, he could end up being a guy you look back on and say, how wasn't that guy a first rounder? I liked him a lot from what I saw, but he could also become a guy who can't get his shot off or he is injury prone.
I like him more than Dillon Jones or Ousmane Dieng, that's for sure. I also liked his future more than Isaiah Joe and Joe has turned into a solid player.

Players that can’t be hunted on defence and can do a bit of everything always have a shot.

On what planet? On a Both seem like solid value for where they got picked.
