I'm basing my Big Board off the players NBA potential and ceiling. I will consider the players floor also, but I am not a strong believer in floors. I believe the most in being in the right system and fit but that's difficult to do with a Big Board
1. Cooper Flagg: His engine is elite and his skills are developing at rapid pace easy no. 1.
2. Dylan Harper: Highest floor in the draft but probably 3-5 highest ceiling.
3. Ace Bailey: I see his ceiling nearly as high as Flagg's. I also don't see his floor as low as others.
4. Khaman Maluach: He is a upside pick although his game continued to grow enough for me to believe in a high ceiling.
5. VJ Edgecombe: I see him as a safe pick but his realistic potential might be a Malik Monk level unless he measures better than he did in HS.
6. Jeremiah Fears: I like his playstyle if he can develop his playmaking he could be a top 3 player in the draft.
7. Tre Johnson: He is a great scorer but I am unsure of almost every other aspect of his game.
8. Nolan Troare: I know people will disagree, but his size, movement, playmaking, and age makes think his ceiling his higher than he's given credit.
9. Joan Beringer: Again I know this isn't a consensus viewpoint. His athleticism and archetype are elite and watching his tape I see something.
10. Egor Demin: Playmaking is advanced for his age and height. His upside is the risk teams drafting in this range should bet on.

Not bad. But I don't see the point in Demin at all. Sure, he can throw a pretty Sportscenter behind the back pass, but what does he do that will actually help an NBA team? He should go in the 20's to a team like the Nets or Wizards that have a bunch of first round picks. There's 20 guys I would take over him.

** I think Maluach should be a serviceable and eventually starter-level big. Think Mark Williams and maybe Brook Lopez. I can't put him in the top 5 though.
** I agree that Edgecombe should be a solid, starter-level player. He's a guy I'd expect to be able to put up 19/5/5 and contribute at a high level on both ends of the floor, but I'm not sure he's advanced enough offensively to be an All Star. (Think peak Larry Hughes.)
** I'm higher on Tre Johnson than many. I think he's an elite-level shooting/scoring prospect, comparable to guys like Devin Booker or the Boston Celtics version of Ray Allen (less above the rim than earlier in his career). I don't see a real problem with his defense or ball movement.
I currently have ---
Flagg
Harper
Bailey
T. Johnson
Edgecombe
Queen
Knueppel
Bryant
Essengue
Maluach

I like the Illinois guys also but there’s a problem when they get blown out by any good team they play…you think it’s HC?

I like his playmaking at 6'9" I see it as a good starting point for a young player. He is young and will need to work on his shooting, defense, and his body. It's a gamble with him and I respect anyones opinion on how they feel these prospects will be at in 5 years. My argument for Demin is his efficiency isn't good but his shot isn't broken and to me looks like it can become workable, especially with a catch and shoot, and corner three's. His defense will never be elite but it could be average on ball and with real potential for him to be decent at steals. I don't see any reason his body can't get better with pro trainers. I could be convinced to have others over him but I see a 6'9" playmaker as more valuable in the current NBA than other archetypes that I put him over.

Frankly, I don't know. I've not gotten a chance to watch much since the first half of the season so things may change as I catch more. I do think they didn't do enough to take advantage of Jakucionis, I would have e liked more actions to open up the side for PnR with the poor spacing of the college floor, but instead of driving into an empty side they were usually running stuff with high picks and/or with Ivisic making IMO too many decisions with the ball. I think its a fine, modern system, but what I saw in the first 10-15 games was that there could be some adaptations to create more advantages. What is your take since you likely watched more?

I think they ran the offense too much thru Ivisic. I don’t think he’s good. Good shooter but that’s it.
I think what’s funny about them is once they got the ball out of Jaks hands and let Boswell take control they played a lot better. But 2 projected top 15 guys and you kind of suck all year. I have questions
