1. Risacher
2. Sarr
3. Sheppard
4. Castle
5. McCain
6. Ware
7. Clingan
8. Buzelis
9. Edey
10. Topic
11. Holland
12. Wells
13. Filipowski
14. Carrington

No major movement as I feel like most teams at the top are satisfied enough with their picks that they’d make the same ones, but McCain and Ware move up and Salaun and Cody Williams move way down.

I agree that Cody Williams and Saluan are the clear guys falling. Carrington, McCain, George, Wells, Filipowski, and Missi are potential risers depending on where you drafted them.

My re-draft would probably be something like: [^ is up, ^^ way up, =, < down, << way dow]
1. Sarr (=)
2. George (=)
3. Risacher (^)
4. Castle (^)
5. McCain (^^)
6. Buzelis (=)
7. Ware (^)
8. Sheppard (=)
9. Holland (<)
10. Topic (=)
11. Clingan (=)
12. Carrington (^^)
13. Filipowski (^^)
14. Dillingham (=)
15. da Silva (=)
16. Jaylen Wells (^^)
17. Missi (^)
18. Dunn (^^)
19. Smith (<<)
20. Collier (^)
21. Carter (<<)
22. Edey (=)
23. Williams (<<)
24. Salaun (<)
25. Johnson (^^)
26. Knecht (<)
27. Walter (<)
28. Mitchell (=)
29. Shannon (^)
30. Bona (^^)

Tail end of the first is tough, deep class with potential role players, still not seeing a ton of high end talent, but I expect everyone in the top-7 above to be long-term starters with several later guys emerging, too. Of course there will be all-stars and I would hope we get an all-NBA first or second team caliber player out of this class, but that kind of clear high end outcome was really absent and I think still is (which is why I thought it was a poor class at the time and still do). I could see McCain, if what we saw in that nice stretch is real, being the guy who can change that.

Original big-board (~top 30)
Spoiler:
Tier 1 (future MVP candidate):
no one

Tier 2 (all NBA + multi-time all star):
no one

Tier 3 (multi-time all-star):
Alexandre Sarr
Kyshawn George
Ron Holland

Tier 4 (maybe an all-star, probably a good starter):
Tyler Smith
Matas Buzelis
Devin Carter
Reed Sheppard
Nikola Topic
Kel'el Ware
Zaccharie Rissacher
Donovan Clingan
Cody Williams
Stephon Castle
Rob Dillingham

Tier 5 (solid starter):
Tidjane Salaun
Tristan da Silva
Dalton Knecht
Jared McCain
Zach Edey
Ja'Kobe Walter
Isaiah Collier

Tier 6 (Low-end starter/high-end bench player)
Carlton Carrington
Nikola Đurišić
Johnny Furphy
Pacome Dadiet
Yvis Missi

Tier 7 (high-end bench player, 6th/7th man)
Kyle Filipowski
Kevin McCullar
Oso Ighodaro
Trey Alexander
KJ Simpson
Ajay Mitchell

Think you'd struggle to find a Detroit fan who would pass on Holland for Sheppard after what we've seen from them both this season.

If this is from a team standpoint, and not your own personal big board.

I don't see how Houston would take Sheppard over Castle, McCain.

Sheppard is a far better fit for their roster than Castle with his shooting, and McCain’s small sample size of great play is not enough to put him over Sheppard’s pre-draft reputation IMO. Reed at least showed flashes when given an opportunity to justify keeping him at 3

too many incompletes due to roles, landing spots, injuries for me to determine much from this season as far as whether I'd change rankings

2) Alex Sarr
3) Reed Sheppard
4) Stephon Castle
5) Ron Holland
6) Matas Buzelis
7) Kel'el Ware

It is really difficult after the Top 10.

I tried to split the difference between what I would do and what the team wants to do.

For example, Portland drafted big in Clingan but I prefer Ware as a center prospect.

My Redraft or Updated Big board after Year 1. I had ranked 30 prospects, here is my updated top 25, with prev ranking in ().

1. Topic (2) +1
2. Risacher (3) +1
3. Castle (5) +2
4. Sarr (4) -
5. Buzelis (6) +1
6. Holland (1) -5
7. McCain (25) +18
8. Clingan (8) -
9. Ware (19) +10
10. Filipowski (18) +8
11. Bub (13) +2
12. Walter (9) -3
13. Collier (17) +4
14. Sheppard (10) -4
15. Wells (Outside top 30) +15
16. Knecht (12) -4
17. Missi (23) +6
18. Edey (24) +6
19. Salaun (11) -8
20. Cody Willliams (7) -13
21. Dillingham (16) -5
22. Carter (14) -8
23. Holmes (15) -8
24. Kyshawn (27) +3
25. Mogbo (30) +5

McCain is the biggest mover, up 18 spots.
Holland drops below a few guys who showed more, but still like his longterm upside for now.
Most of the bigs moved up a few spots, as it always seems a bit easier for them from day 1 offensively.

Just an fyi .. a redraft and a big board aren't the same thing. Not every team would draft the best player available.. some would draft the best one that fits their roster situation.

Yeah, I just posted big board and maybe thread title was misleading. Too often times we make excuses on why a player would still be the selection in a mock redraft, for example. There is no way that McCain shouldn't be the Rockets pick over Sheppard, but there would still be plenty of Rockets fans who would say Sheppard would still be the right pick.

I don't think Castle would be a lock to go one or two. He's still a weird fit for alot of teams. I don't know that every front office buys into his shooting skillset. I think Atlanta still take ZR & Washington takes Sarr for his potential floor spacing at 7-1.

Walter really came on. If the Raptors were thin at the 2 and didn't have a wing logjam he would have shown more. He's probably their best fit at the 2 and should be a starter. Elite POA, good shooter, ft merchant and good handle
